Nieuport 17
A french Niewport fighter
About this creation
The Nieuport 17 was a french fighter that fought in the first world war between 1916 and 1917. It was a development to the Nieuport 11, featuring 2 machine guns instead of one: a Vickers machine gun behind the propeller and a lewis gun on top of the top wing. The N 17 also had a 110hp engine which spun a 2 bladed propeller, giving the plane a speed of 103mph.

There are some minor modifications compare to this and my last version:

I have replaced the RAF symbols with french symbols.
The fusalage is much longer.
The wings are wider.
I have added the lewis gun on the top wing.
The tail fin is different and more realistic.
There are stands holding the top and bottom wings together.
There is a two bladed propeller unlike my last version, which had four blades.

All these changes have made my Nieuport 17 much more realistic. So here it is:

Front view.

Side view.

Tail fins at the back.

The pilot and controls.

The lewis gun.

Machine guns and propeller.

Birds eye view.

Pilot's view the the controls and guns

Thanks for looking!

Quoting Christopher Honkzo6 Nicely done, I haven't seen one of these in Lego, but I think it's come out really well, great going, and keep it up!
I built a lego Nieuport because I had a lot of grey bricks, and Nieuports were coloured grey. I'll be uploading anohter plane soon, something much larger than any of my previous planes!
