About this creation
Hey everyone,
Ya know, I wasn't even going to post this but...

Can you figure it out? Man I hope so, I built it for my 4 year old daughter.

This one's even easier than the kids menu at Denny's so I doubt many of you will have trouble.

There's only one way through. It's not like I just built a bunch of walls and stuck em there...

Ok, so maybe it is. But really, there's only one way through.

So be honest when you comment...

How many mistakes did YOU make before you made it through?

Fourth Wall Commentary: As many of you know a few weeks back we had a prety bad blizzard here in the Chicago area. After all the digging out (oh what FUN!) was done, I looked in the backyard and saw that there was a lot of clean, deep snow out there. So I grabbed the shovel and made a maze for my four year old daughter in our backyard. Needless to say, she loved it! Ok, so flash forward about a week and we get a heat wave (near 60! And for this time of year here, that's freakin HOT) and all the snow melts. Well, my little girl was devistated that her maze was gone... so I sat down and did the next best thing for her, I built one out of Lego! Yeah, long story short, this was made for my daughter to play with 'cause she misses her snow maze. I wasn't even going to post it but I thought it'd be fun to let you guys have a crack at it. My daughter did it on her second try... how many tries did it take you?
Had to throw the post together quickly as well because I've got another small project in mind that I want to get started on and as you can see, this thing takes up my ENTIRE desk. Alright, time to tear it down and start on the next project.
Till next time true believers!
~Chris.

Clever, but I don't care for the studs on the top of the wall. One mistake for me Mr. Phipson. Lee. |

one mistake towards the end..... but very nice maze.... i see though you used minifigs to try to throw people off..... hahahahahhaha!
i give a 3 on 5.... cuz there is always awesome, more complicated ways to make a maze! |

i m really not a fan of experimenting the maze myself, but, as a build, i must say that it s in my mind to try someday, made out of multiple green baseplates, maybe 'shining' like! inspiring concept! |

well, uhm... a-maze-ing?! Maybe it's a coinsidence, maybe great minds think alike, but I started work on a labyrinth too...Only mine is slightly harder to build: it's circular! |

What a creative super idea (snow and lego maze). It is snowing here now and I am going to try the snow maze for my boys-then they can do the Lego one! Thanks for sharing! |

Chris, this is really sweet. We never had enough snow to build a maze, but in summer we made some in large fields of stinging nettle. |

If I were minifig sized, this would be quite the challenge, but, alas, gifted with an overhead view and foresight, I knocked it out on the first try. Cool build though. Your daughter's a lucky girl. |

OH YEEEEAH! and...uh..what was I saying? Anyway, if only you coulda frozen that snow maze forever for your daughter. Nice work! |

Man I remember those days of shoveling out the driveway and making a path for the mailman so he would deliver the mail. Can't believe it's already 20+ years since my family moved away from Chi. town and wound up in So. Cal. Anyway I'm sure your little one loves her maze. Besides winter isn't over yet. Another storm could easily blow in and you might just be making another snow maze in no time. I'll keep my eye on WGN to see. Believe it or not we get that channel out here too! |

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out that the minifig in the white maze is NOT at the beginning, so I was very puzzled to find that there was no possible way from there. After I got my head around that one, it was no problem. Tricksy Hobbitses... |

Cool build! I did a maze on a baseplate awhile back, more space efficient, but it's cool how the minifigs can explore this set up. No Minotaurs? Maybe when she's five! |
