The black Vossloh G2000 traveling light through the station that has become St Natalia's. Sadly losing a track and its roof but gaining elevation.
About this creation
The RC black class 66 that I made a while back had been annoying me for a while. I liked it as a model but utilising the RC limits the engine to four wheels per bogie, instead of the required 6 for the class. Therefore I wanted to find a modern diesel engine that would suit the predestined wheel arrangement. After trawling through the numerous rail sites dedicated to European trains I found the Vossloh G2000 BB, which seemed to fit the bill. It isn't entirely suited to the 6 wide format I insist on using, 7 would be better, but a change of width would cause numerous running problems as things get pretty tight in the stations.
