The Dragon Knights enjoy the spoils of war after a decided victory over the Lions Knights.
About this creation
This is my first Lego creation after a 15 year "dark age". I was a fan of Classic Castle in my youth, and fell in love with the Kingdoms line the first time I saw the 7946 King's Castle and it's departure from the heavy fantasy themes prior. I found myself identifying strongly with the Dragon Knights, but hated that they lacked a proper castle. After a few failed attempts at building up 7947 Prison Tower Rescue into a worthy castle, I decided that I would start from scratch a build my first proper diorama/MOC. After many weeks of trial and error, and many bricklink orders later, I present my Dragon Knight Keep. I had a great time on this project and look forward to the next.
My apologies for the quality of some of the photographs, I'm still learning my camera and the art of Lego photography. More photos of this project are available on my Flicker page.
Incredible. Can you share any comments on how you built it? I'm trying to determine the exact colors used but for some reason I'm having a hard time. It looks like gray and some sort of tan? Can anyone confirm the color scheme?
This is amazing! All the little plants and pebbles and details are awesome! I agree with you on the Dragon Knights though, even though I never bought any of the sets I agree that they are a little underappreciated.
Very nice, especially considering the 15 year dark age. Personally I prefer the lion kingdom, but the dragon knights have a nice color scheme also. Are some of the smaller buildings from the medieval market village set? They look like slightly modified versions of some of those buildings but I can't tell for sure.
I like it

Very colorful and well shaped! Reminds me of Fable
ah, a good castle always gets my respect and admiration, and i really really like this one. i also prefer the dragon knights, and i agree, the "bad guys" never get a proper castle. i really like the way you designed this castle, rather than simple stone walls, there are stables and buildings built into the wall, it looks really cool. the tower also looks really good, and the decoration on the outside of the walls is impressive. 5/5 great job!
