AEGAKS AT9-0 "ONYX" LDD MECHA
THANKS TO JASON DOMINGUES FOR THE AEGAKS SYSTEM.
About this creation

AEGAKS AT9-0 "ONYX"

continuing the trend of naming the AEGAKS AT series after precious stones, ONYX is the bad boy of the group. Built for stealth and mayhem. Few other AEGAKS units can match him in terms of speed. His body armour is built from a special alloy which absorbs sound rendering him invisible to sonar.

Weilds in battle his twin bladed short sword and his multi-bladed pike.

Few have ever seen who breaths beneath the skull mask he wears, many believe he is death incarnate, others just a lunatic with a very dangerous mech.

Who ever he is, the enemy only ever see him once.

Quoting Nick Clevenger I myself use LDD simply because I can't get all the bricks and pieces that I want... I definitely like this mech, but I agree that it could be a little flimsy if it were ever made- the only reason is simply because those ball-to-cross axle pieces are bad at taking any weight at all. I think this might hold, but a lot of poses would fall apart in like 5 minutes. I used to use those kinds of joints but they aren't so great for sturdiness. It does, however, make this suit look awesome. Would you mind if I modify it a little? I would either give you credit or just give you the file. Those shields can be added to in a fun way.
I don't mind you modifying it, but please credit me by linking to the original when posting it on-line.

ooh, nice work on this! very creative use of Bionicle elements. the upper arm and upper leg segments look a bit thin and kinda flimsy, but I suppose that, being a stealth unit, that probably helps.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Huh. I just noticed that the blade in the right hand looks like a Halo Energy Sword. How odd. ^Blub^
entirely accidental I assure you.

Quoting Ape Fight Like this a lot - simple but super effective looking. Better if it was in real bricks, but you've probably heard that one before! 4/5
I have but I still take it as a compliment. thanks.

Quoting Shadowa Heartfelt The moc itself is pretty amazing. The only flaws I see in it are that the upper arms look like they wouldn't be able to support the bulkier forearms and I wouldn't think that the hips would be very stable. Otherwise, this is a pretty awesome L-frame AEGAKS
actually the shields wouldn't add much weight to the arms so if the ball joints could support the forearms for the AT10 then they should be ok here too. What could be a problem is the weapons.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Very nice addition to your little collection there. The black suits it, and the forearm shields were a nice touch. ^Blub^
Thanks, for the next one I'm definitely going back to basics with a brand new build for the cockpit, I feel I've cheated a little by reusing the same design. I'm also planning on tackling a drone this week, but I need some inspiration first.
