A Christmas Carol
This is a Lego tower displaying five 12x8 vignettes. Each level depicts a key moment in one of Charles Dickens most beloved works: "A Christmas Carol". Perhaps I should have waited until the holidays role around again to post it. Oh well. This creation took a considerable amount of time to design and build, but I am quite satisfied with the outcome. Enjoy!
About this creation

Level 1: Marley's Ghost

Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of his late business partner Jacob Marley.

My custom armchair design makes a reappearance.

Jacob Marley

I used clear studs for the floating affect

Level 2: The Ghost of Christmas Past

Judging by the Ghost's expression, it doesn't have a good history with rats

The rat

The bookshelf

Books

Ghostlike shot

Level 3: The Ghost of Christmas Present

Food and Holly

A candle

Level 4: The Ghost of Christmas yet to come

Scrooge's tombstone

A dead bush and some other graves

A bat

Level 5: Scrooge, a reformed character

Knocker

Railings

Scrooge gives generously to a beggar

"Hey! Give that back!" (sorry I couldn't resist)

Quoting Brandon B. Nice build,But that is WAY to big to be a Vignette. But besides that great job!
It's a story tower, each level is a vignette in and of itself. Thanks for the comment Brandon!

Nice! I noticed you gave Scrooge a new face for the "Reformed" version...is there a paticular reason?

Awesome! I am a huge fan of your vignettes, they have so much detail! I really like the railing and the scene with jacob marley is awesome! I really like how you made the ghosts of christmas past present and future, too! 5/5

Excellent! When I first saw 'Scrooge: A Reformed Character', I could've sworn it said 'Scrooge: A Deformed Character'!

Awesome Ian! I love this one! It sure puts my tower vig to shame! This is as huge as it is unbelievably classic. I don't care what everybody else says, but I love Dickens, and this sure does him justice. Each level is exquisite, but the bottom level is my favorite. Each of these levels could be presented as individual vignettes, but together, they really push this to a 6 in 5 stars. Great job, and long live Dickens!

Incredible! I loved all of them, but the presentation is lacking, due to size of your pictures. By the way, does the ghost of christmas present have anything to do with Areetsa's "Clones at Play"?

WOW, Ian! Spectacular. I love the way you were able to keep it structurally sound and still keep out poles (like I resorted to). But I don't know about the Ghost of Christmas Past. It didn't have enough...umph...I guess. But the other levels were beyond cool. 4/5!
