About this creation
2011 MOCathlon
Yes...that's right. Just lean forward and look for your bus. Enjoy your wait now, because in just a minute, you won't have to wait any more...How ironic that you are wearing an emergency responder's uniform. It doesn't suit you.
(Dialogue above pictures)
I remember clearly when it all started...My dad and I were on a walk, just him and his teenage son...and you pulled him into the alley and shot him then and there, just to take his wallet. I fled, yelling for someone to come help...
...but I couldn't just leave my father there. I ran back to check on him but it was too late. You had dropped your Colt revolver, and fled the scene.
I grabbed the revolver and sprinted after you...
...but the police finally arrived, and caught ME with the smoking gun instead of YOU...
...and I spent more than ten years of my life behind bars for something I didn't do. I swore to have my revenge...
...and so it will be.
Enjoy these last few precious seconds.

Background stuff:
I found this challenge to be quite fun. At first, all I was going to have was the view through the scope, but then I wanted to create a story to go with it. The main picture was easily the hardest one to get right. If I held the camera too close to the "scope", the camera would severely darken the picture, making it hard to make out what's going on. Too far, and you can see outside of the scope. I had to hold it half a foot away or so and zoom in to around 150% to get it to work.
As for the behind the scenes stuff, here is the overall layout:
It's kind of like video games. If people can't venture there, why design that side of the level? Anyways, here is the street side concessions man:
...and his cart:
Here is my dozing man and the unfortunate minifig (on the bench with wanted ads printed on it):
And finally, a further view of the "scope".
Thanks for looking!

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^=
(I think you might have got a 5 if the surround was completely black)
Are you talking about the scope? If so, the scope is completely black, it's just the reflection of colors off of the objects further away that show some color on the sides. I couldn't figure out a remedy to this without making the picture darker. |

I'm judging this solely on that first image, which works remarkably well. 4 points. (I think you might have got a 5 if the surround was completely black) |

I liked the short backstory but we're judging the FP here, and that my friend, earns you 4 points! You just took it in a totally different direction and it really came across well. Good job! ~ Chris.
You just made my evening! Thanks! |

I agree with Ru. The build for the backstory could be a bit better, but I don't think you have to worry about that much. If you can, put hair/hats on more of the people! |

The scope looks great! The only thing That might make it better would to maybe give some more of the people hair, and maybe make those clouds less blocky. But that main pic is just beutiful! |
