Holy frollick, I missed this! I also have 4 of those aliens in a little bignette, on hold for now. I'm glad to see this was made with your recognizable (and much appreciated) "low-res" style. |

Sure, the mech isn't the greatest ever built(the feet are awesome, though), But would you look at that beach! That is a nice beach! All it needs is a hotdog stand and a few scantily clad babes! |

great scene chris! although a little more time
would have done wonders on the mech, sometimes, we just don t have it! the exo force joints really do a nice job on these,
i love the legs design, and the feet are convincing enough, i also like the controls and cockpit a lot! as a scene, it s pretty hot and funny! great work!

I dunno, Your Highness Supreme Overlord Commander. I kind of like it but the mech seems too inactive. It takes away from the big draw of the otherwise great build. May be if you showed the clawed foot grabbing a squiddie or "trompin' around" or shooting its missiles and guns and stuff. Maybe you'd be happier that way. Now if you'll excuse me I must slaughter the fattened lego in sacrifice. |

The aliens look really good when they're grouped together with that 'invasion' look.
But, the mech looks a little too box-ish. I think that it would look better with 3-4 smaller mechs, instead of a single big one.

There's nothing like a Battletech styled mech to show the classic never die. They simply find a whole new target to grind into pulp under mechanized foot! |

Those Squidorians! They'd bring a spoon to the Super Bowl. Anyway, I don't know how much sense that made, but great build. I really like the way that the two curved pieces wrap around at the attachment point between the mech's guns and it's arms. |

Sort of like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Of course, there was this one guy who did and won. But I don't see him here, so yeah. The mech is cool, definately has a Mechwarrior/Battletech feel to it. Poor squidies. ^Blub^ |

Oh, I gotcha. I meant make the legs poseable at the hip. You can do what I call the "old-fashion technique" and use L-bars and headlight bricks at the hips and joints at the tops of the legs and arms. Just some ideas:) |

Nice! I love the mech, but, I agree, it's a bit...off. I love the feet and lower legs. My suggestion would be to rebuild the upper legs so they can move. Same with the arms. You'd be surprised how poseability adds to a mech's look. In this case, I would use Exo-Force joints (if you have them).
The mech is actually fully posable. Just the hinges that I have have lost some of their clutch power and two per joint wouldn't hold him up. So I had to go with four per joint, hence the blockyness of the legs that we've already pointed out... don't work too well. |

Kind of like "never bring a Kelso to a speed building contest!" Nice work, my friend. Wouldn't mind seeing more detail in the build aspect of the Mech (or maybe a hit of color or some sticker work), but the general design is terrific. Bad day to be a squiddy! |
