About this creation
The LHEV-11 was originally designed in the Terran Trade Authority genre, but it varied much in its implimentation and now looks more like Classic Space than TTA. This is an ongoing project and I am planning improvements, such as redesigned engines and a new, and less bland fin design (more sturdy too!). To get to the point, does anybody here have any additional ideas? I would appreciate it if you rated based on potential in addition to its current version. Thanks in advance.
The model itself is a Long Haul Exploration Vehicle that was used from 2022 to 2035 by the Terran Probe and Research Association to conduct high-definition (for that time) scans of relativlety unexplored areas for follow-up research and official records. The ships were designed for the most part by Indefinite Aerospace, with Consolidated providing several X-43n nuclear ion thrusters. The first ship was sent on a parabolic course to fly-by Mercury, Neptune and Pluto for a proof-of-concept voyage. The second ship was sent towards the Centauri system, but was forced to cut short its voyage due to technichal problems, and contact with the Alphans was saved for another ship and another day. The third ship was sent on a large, arching course around the planets as a deep-space astronomical study ship, its sensors aimed out into the galaxy. Each ship flew again on two addiitonal missions before decommisioning as advances in the new deVass drive phased them out. However, one ship made it into service with National Geographic and continued its mundane life scanning anomalies on Venus until 2048. The second ship lies in the Space in the 21st Century exhibit in the naval museum at Athens. The third "dissappeared" mysteriously, but stories have circulated that the ship fell into the hands of viglilante Constantine Waltern, supposedly outfitted with Alphan potential mass drivers and a "salvaged" class 8 plasmatic projectile turret.

Photoshopped picture of an early version. The ship appears to be orbiting an asteroid with dense vegitation and a low sea level.

Side view, you know, this could actually pass as a submarine...

Cockpit and side panels removed; I have not installed the navigation station equipment yet (situated behind the pilot). The scientific equipment is located below the pilot.
