Robot Hijacker Drone
One of the most devious drones to be produced by Mecha One to date. It began appearing once the AEGAKS M Frames were being mass produced.
About this creation
"If the enemy is strong, then take his strength. If you take that strength, make sure that it does not make you weak." General Seino, shortly before his death at the hands of Mecha One.

The Hijacker may not seem like much on the outside, but it is one of Mecha One's most sinister creations. Somehow, Mecha One has managed to map the nueral links and built a drone unit capable of interfacing with the AEGAKS interface core, the hub that conects the AEGAKS to the drive system that uses the impulses to recreate the motions with the frame.

The Hijacker is little more than a power source and an AI unit. In addtion, it has a unique interface that allows it to connect to the captured frame. Hijackers are very helpless until they assume control of a human frame.

Seen here is the 102 Arkham standing next to the Hijacker.

The drones' new tactic consists of either killing the pilot, or making the pilot eject. Then a Hunter, or other such size drone, attaches the Hijacker to the now unused frame. The Hunter then protects the Hijacker while it assumes control of the frame.

Once the Hijacker has assumed control, it then fulfills its combat programming alongside the other drones as set by Mecha One.

Hijackers are particularly difficult to handle, because of their immense data on the AEGAKS, and because Hijackers are chosen by Mecha One to have their Intelligence Limiters partially disabled. They are also equipped with self-destruct devices, to prevent the SPA from capturing it, and to prevent the Hijacker from choosing to abandon its programming.

CREATOR'S NOTES:

The Salthum, if it's frame had been taken by the Hijacker. Unfortunately, the color schemes match, and so the Salthum made a poor example. On the hand, it looks much more natural than the Arkham.

Well, this was an interesting idea.

Credit goes to qwerty 10 for his comment on my Hunter drone. He said it would be interesting if Mecha One were to capture an AEGAKS. This isn't exactly the same, but it was his comment that lead me to this idea. Thank you, qwerty.

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix Interesting idea. I'm wondering though--how exactly does it make the other mech eject or shut down? Signal warfare? Direct interface, or does something else cause the ejection and then the hijacker just takes over? What would be useful is to give the hijacker some limited mobility--little spindly spider legs or something so that it can crawl up to an enemy unnoticed, interface with it, cause an ejection, and then climb up, abandon the legs and take control of the unit
This model is more of a musing of Mecha One, wondering what would happen if he attached a hunter drone torso to the empty frame of a capture unit, and this is what become of it. So like a trial run, this model had to be carried to a downed AEGAKS and manually fitted to the socket. I am currently working on a second version, but I am unsure of how I want to make the delivery method.

I really love this concept. Great idea.

I've created a Battle modified Hijacker (I couldn't make it look like yours due to limitations of pieces) but please tell me what you think. it was given the call name "ReCode" for the way it attaches and reprograms the AEGAKS frames.

Quoting BlaBlurBlah - Zombie AEGAKS! I love how the colors clash with the Arkham. How does the drone attach to the discarded frame, does it fly up with little rockets or is it attached by another drone?
This one is attached by another drone.

Haha. yeah. I didn't mean it as an insult to anyone. I just had the idea, and scrapped it because I didn't think it was valuable/ good enough to be part of the story

Quoting Mike Johnson Ah, it's nice to see the drones get a leg up for a change. Now we need some shots of minifigs being mashed under AEGAKS feet simply for the joy of it!
Hmm. I thought I was giving the impression that the humans were barely hanging on. I guess I'll have to work on that. And just, I probably should have added that.

Quoting Shadowa Heartfelt I'm sorry to say that I had already thought of that with the whole idea of the drones taking over an AEGAKS when I first joined the group, but this idea for a "control seat" is pretty awesome.
As I am sure of others having thought of the idea too. However, each of us would have a different consept of how this would be done. This is simply my own.

Quoting andros tempest just an idea, but how about a version which can get around without using a hunter? would you have any objections to me trying to come up with a modified hijacker, or even a hijacker delivery system, so this thing can take pilot blocks and replace them itself. Principle tactic, infiltrate enemy hangers and eject the pilot block while the mech is inactive, then replace the block with itself.
Sounds interesting. There is a copy of the LDD Arkham on the Arkham's page. See if you can make it compatible with it.

Very cool! One idea though for combat effectiveness, you should have given the hijacker drone some small, bug-like legs and a device for removing the block from other mecha. Like a spider-spatula! :)

Quoting qwerty 10 You are very much welcome Jason, and thank you. :D Though I would think that to prevent the Hijacker to do its job the humans could make distinctively different pods. For example, I highly doubt that it could attach to an Entox. But this is a very unique and inspiring idea.
While this is true, ideally, it would be able to interface with all the styles. Probably with built in pistons to make it match to just about any socket.

This is brilliant! The Hijacker will be one of the most feared AEGAKS enemy as the pilots may face another AEGAKS and not a entire drone. Great idea and execution.
