About this creation














Rescue 2 is a 2011 American LaFrance 8 Man Cab Rescue. Rescue 2 is used primarily for water rescue operations in the city and outside of the city. Rscue 2 carries two life rafts, one on the top of the rescue and one on a trailer pulled behind. Also there is scuba gear, airtanks, and other water rescue equipment.

Side Note: Rescue 2 had a meeting with my 1 year old daughter last week. She completly took the rescue apart for me LOL. At this time this unit is OOS ( Out of Service ). My daughter managed to have it taken apart in five minutes. Not made or anything, but this Rescue was not one of my favorites. It is undetermind at this time if she will be rebuilt or not.

This unit is OOS. My one year old daughter decided she wanted to help her daddy build with lego's and well before I knew it she had it completly torn apart. Plans are in affect after Station's 2 & 4 are built to rebuild this rescue but much different and better.

Thanks, I never really looked at American LaFrance stuff. I am more a seagrave type builder. I am going to look into rebuilding it and making it into another seagrave.

I'm not a big fan of "American LaTrash", I've only really seen one good-looking engine. It's still a nice build though.
