In a reconstructed Spherus Magna, the heroes we all know have gone long ago, and their heroic histories are no more than legends. The society is split up, with several guilds spread trought the planet. From five to five years, the best warriors of the guilds get together in a enormous tournament, similar to that ones from the past, but now the objectives are not the possession of lands or resources anymore, now it's for entertainment and to prove wich warrior is the greater... At least its what people think...
About this creation
Member of the Volcano Guild and the Matoran race, Hoahi is a strong and fierce warrior. He believes in honor and justice, but can be very furious and cruel in battle. His weapon is a great Fire Sword, crafted years ago by Kaihaku with high technology and the valious protosteel, wich has become a very rare material over the centuries. Hoahi already fought over many Tournaments, and was its champion once.
Defeated by a warrior of his own guild, he came again to the Tournament to prove he is still worthy the title of the guild's main warrior and preserve his honor.
Some Wall Comment: So, with this one I just looked for a nice an balanced design, without any innovation or different techniches, except maybe with the sword. Also, I was willing to use some new pieces I got from Bricklink, like the masks... The name came from the junction of the maori words Ahi(fire) and Hoari(sword), actually, using maori words is a great trick when you can't find a name for your bionicle creation, you can find the maori dictionary just by googloing it...
Wow, this guy has got more popular than I expected. Maybe more than it deserved, actually... I mean, not my favourite, but nevermind... it seens that people do have a 'thingy' about Toa... Thanks anyway!
Thanks for commenting, guys!
So, Gringat: Now that you said it, I guess I really have some amount of ball joints... All came with sets, and I buy bionicle since the very beginning of it, even tough I never completed a collection (they're more expensive here) :)
Chris: Yeah, I'm not sure of how many I used on this one, but you're right about the ones in the shoulders;)
