This truck served from 1955 to 1975 as FDLC's ladder 1 and has been forgotten in the old Station one until 1991. The truck wich had an horrible look has been rebuild by the members of the volunteer and career fire departments surrounding Lego City and this truck now serves for all the events and the parades around the town.
Nice job. I like the working stabilizers. They are very well done. This truck reminds me of the first Lego ladder truck that I built as an AFOL in 1994. I really liked that truck. It was nowhere as detailed as this one but it was a nice compact midmount ladder truck. The problem with modern midmounts is that they are so darn long. Not that they were ever short, but 47' is really long no matter how you slice it. You capture the simplicity of the old ALF trucks well. Keep up the good work.
