The AF-256 was a commission taken on by DarkStar Industries after the need for a heavy frigate arose. The engineers who created this beauty say that it "floats like a butterfly, and stings like a bee." whether this is true is debatable. Overall they perform as a 2nd line of defense between the Assault Cruisers, and the missile frigates.
