Engines 6 & 7
Jakeland FD Engine 6 and Engine 7
About this creation

Engines 6 & 7 of the Jakeland Fire Dept. have accepted delivery of twin 2010 American La France Eagle Engines. These engines are equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and a 500 gallon tank.

Due to the budget cuts Engine 6 was moved out of Chinatown and moved to "Grand Central Station" with Rescue 1, Truck 2 and Battalion 1. Engine 6 also renamed themselves "The Busy Bees!" because since they are in the center of the city they will one of the busiest companies in the city.

The Coal St firehouse survived the cuts even though this is the slowest firehouse in the city. This firehouse however will start seeing a lot more action because of the cuts. Engine 7 for the first time in its history will be operating an engine that is not a KME.

Looks good Matt! I know from past experience it's always nice when a set of twins are delivered, really gives your department that "urban" feel. Keep up the great work!

Wow, those are some nice fire engines, Matt. Hey, out of curiosity but when are you ever going to do something like make a ladder engine, some search-and-rescue vehicles, a bucket-and-ladder engine, a HAZMAT truck, or even make some ambulances or police cars, vans, SWAT vehicles, etc.? As much as I enjoy your fire engines, I think that I'd like to see something along those lines in your future MOCs.

Extremly detailed and accurate work, it dwarves TLC's fire engines heaps! 5/5!

Quoting Emmett M. Awesome work as usual Matt! These have got to be your best ALF's, if not your best rigs yet! BTW, is "Grand Central Station" going to be in Downtown and or Midtown Jakeland, and, according to your website, there are only 2 Battalions, however, is there a Deputy Chief/Incident/Tour Commander, or does one of the BC's handle Tour Command? And, finally, where is Res2cue going to be housed, if it will still exist after the budget cuts?
"Grand Central" will be in midtown, in the center of the city. There used to be 4 battalions and 2 division chiefs, now its 2 battalions and 1 tour commander. Rescue 2 will still exist and remain as a special called unit at HQ.
