Thanks a lot, and I'd like to, but I had just my idea for my sub, what this sort of vehicle could be like, the shape it could have. It was lots of improvisation, but I tried my best to be quite realistic. I started with the massive shape of the front, I continued, asking myself if I was going to buy it, depending of the cost and of my satifaction degree about my design. And I just had tons of patience! Patience to design it on LDD, to wait 21 days for preparation of my first big order. So patient that I was still improving it and making smaller orders while it was not arrived home yet! Later, patience to modigy again my LDD model to make it longer, to wait again 21 days for a new big order... To unmount completely the rear... I have put the first brick on LDD by the 15th of November, 2010, it was finished on the 23th of March, 2011. I'm just fascinated by sea vehicles! For your information, I work in computer technical support. ;-)

It should encourage me to make my own dry dock and/or U-boot! I'll check your pics this week end! I have no room left too! ;-)

Are you a Lego Designer? By the skill of this creation, I'd thought you might be one.

Very nice Jay! This looks outstanding! Looking at your boat really makes me want to try building a Titan but I have no room whatsoever. :) I'm going to try and put my drydock together with my U-Boat and light everything up this coming weekend. this is spectacular... there really is no need for comment because it is just that good, the pictures tell the story, and in each one it shows how much effort was put into it, and of course one really wouldnt know how much effort was used, but it shows it took some time and patience to say the least. it is an honor to see a model sub, thank you for sharng and i love the detail

I could at least improve my heavy machine gun system, whitch is a bit fragile! That's a good idea, but i don't have many technic bricks! any suggestion? What contraptions would you put? :-)

You're right Danny this is very heavy, more than some other longer creations! When i designed it on LDD, i wanted very strong structure and the floor, whitch is supporting all the structure is 2, sometime 3 or 4 bricks wide(not including plates!) Same for the vertical walls! I used a maximum of long bricks(16 studs), crossed for maximum strengh. You can see the width of the structure on some pics... I think I've managed it, because I can handle it by the bottom of the hull, to move it from my shelve, for exemple. =)

WOW, you're adding in A LOT LOT more details this time... Just a suggestion, but seem like you have room to add in some technic contraption it'll give you creation more function. =)

Needs a bit more work, but I guess these huge projects come in more than just one version, every time a new improvement.

This is quite difficult! My mounting intructions do not directly show me what I need the most: how to link the new part to the old one. So I have to hide bricks in my main plan in LDD... pfffffiou!
