The B-Type mk6A possesses a next-generation active stealth generator, life crystal reaction system and drive matrix.

This allows it to shield itself from detectors, scanners and sensors of all kinds...

...Allowing it to appear to vanish...

...Almost as if...

...It never was.

Looking over the field of battle

The primary weapon of the B-Type mk6A is its Stealth Beam Sniper Rifle. It has adjustable resolution, fires invisible beams, and is accurate up to 1cm over a solar diameter range. It is most often used in this configuration (Rifle Mode)
, but in closer quarters, it has a hidden feature...

Sniper Rifle (Sub-Machine Gun Mode): In this mode, the rifle folds to reveal a triple barrelled beam sub-machine gun that also fires invisible beams and has rapid fire capacity

For melee combat, the B-Type mk 6A carries a wide variety of stealthy weapons. Included in this arsenal are a pair of phase knives that have stealth equipped blades and a serrated combat knife, also outfitted with a stealth blade. The blades fold up and can be stored on the lower legs of the unit when not in use.

Also included in the B-Type mk6A's melee arsenal are the dual beam sabres that are standard on all TMX models. The sabres are stored on the rear of the forearms when not in use. The beam sabres have invisible blades, making them difficult to avoid.

Alright then. I had wondered, because it would be common sense to install thermal sensors into a mecha's sensor package defaultly. Fascinating system you've got here. ^Blub^

Quoting Rabid Goldfish I did have a question. How does the Hades defeat thermal sensors? Especially on the invisible beam weapons? I mean, they would generate an inordinate amount of heat and that would be difficult to conceal, I think. ^Blub^
While reading this, try to imagine that this is a mech that has been designed by a race of people who have been at war for literally millions of years and have made an art form out of warfare. The Hades defeats thermal sensors in several ways. First of all, the mech's power plant runs off a life-crystal reactor core. This core produces no heat emissions, nor does the propulsion system that runs off of it. The only byproducts of the system are trace inert helium atoms. This drastically reduces the mech's thermal profile. The areas of the mech that have life support are heavily insulated from the outside to reduce the thermal profile. Nanofield generators are used to take excess heat and disperse it evenly over all parts of the structure, making its thermal profile minimal. Finally, the armor of the B-Type is very special. It is constructed of an energy absorbing quadtanium-crystalline alloy that has been specially treated with a neuranium coating. When the bio-field energy from the life crystal reactor is run through the neuranium, it has the effect of bending most waves around it, from ultraviolet to infrared, rendering it immune to most sensor types, including thermal. The beam weapons are not meant to be undetectable. You are correct that they emit heat when activated. However, their true battle advantage lies in the fact that they cannot be visually detected. When two mecha are in melee range, visual detection is the most effective sensor in battle. Not being able to see the enemy's weapon drastically hampers one's ability to evade or intercept it.

Updates on this one have been slow in coming. I'll have the rest of the pics up in a bit, but for now this will have to do. The beam sabres are clear because the beams are supposed to be invisible. Yes, it has stealth beam sabres. That way, if an enemy is trying to avoid the blades visually, they will fail. Also, anywhere you see clear parts, on the mech, including knife blades, is supposed to indicate that they are invisible, cloaked.

The poses and the weapon designs are perfect! As expected of you...altough you should have colored the beam sabers with some other colors, like green or red..no offense but white is a bit wierd. Keep it up! I'm curious about how will you make the Gadess.

Wow, the new photos, and that Exia-ish sniper rifle are just stunning. I think this has been your best one. ^Blub^

I could only imagine what this would look like if it were built out of purely clear bricks!

Nice work mithryl I've decided to make a comeback and start by making something contributing to japan aka something either from an anime or just a humongous Lego banner. If im gonna use an anime i think im gonna finish project Eva but start from scratch using my own design =D also check out this mo0del kit at:http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10137129a7/20/7

Quoting Michael Crichton Pretty good. And by the way, in a comment you left on someone else's MOC (I forget whose, which is why I'm posting this here) you lamented your lack of sucess in building an Alpha/Legioss. Baronsat is a french AFOL, and he has 2 versions posted here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8107354@N03/sets/72157620757814849/ Hopefully those pictures will help!
Thanks a lot man. I've seen his stuff before. It definitely hits close to the mark, but I think that the Veritech Alpha is something that will never truly be properly realized in lego. Its a bit too intricate to properly render, at least at a small scale. With a larger frame, it might be possible.

Quoting legofan4ever Ariel nice work, but how can you update the ldd?
To update LDD, I just went to their website and downloaded the newest version. But other than that, there are no updates.

So I installed LDD4, and it is experiencing the same graphical problems for me as LDD3. Bleh. My video card does not support Open GL, and I can't find a driver that will enable it to. I guess that is what I get for running outdated hardware. I'll get a new computer soon, and then we'll see... Now, regarding this model, its weapons will include: Sniper Cannon that fires cloaked shots and is convertible into a shorter range beam rifle that also fires colorless shots (similar to the Gundam Cherudim's rifle). It will also feature a pair of beam sabres with invisible blades. Finally it will also feature a pair of folding phase-knives that also have cloaked blades (similar to the cloaked phase blades on the arms, legs and shoulders). In addition it carries the standard payload of 28 internal missiles, which are, of course, also cloaked. All in all, it is the ultimate stealth weapon!

Now that was a stroke of genious, the photos that changed the color as if to make it disappear. Pretty nice design, but I wonder what the weapon choice would be? ^Blub^

As always a very solid design. The Mech looks really sharp. The stealth Generator is an excellent idea. The ultimate stealth weapon. And I love the nickname Hades as in the greek Hades.
