L.T. 28 Broadsword
For the Coalition of Planets.
About this creation
Not to be confused with the Shortsword, the Broadsword is similar not just in name but in overall... ness, to the Shortsword: Same weapons (Siege Cannon and two autocannons) except the main gun is built into the front of the tank, with the big plow at the front.

The plow is great for semi-snow planets like Sirius, and forest worlds too, as the plow can easily mow a path for other, plow-less units to follow. Of course, the plow also acts as a shield, and can be used as a weapon, ramming enemy ground units or fortifications.

As can be seen from the picture above showing the minifig comparison, the tank is surprisingly small. You probably thought it was much larger from the thumbnail because of it's fearsome... ness.

Side view. I am pleased with the autocannons' banana magazines.

Tell me that plow doesn't strike terror into your heart, I dare you!

More details on the side and top.

Another snow shot.

A little seen I made with a squad of soldiers :p

The guy wearing the officer cap is War Commander Morgan (my sigfig) and behind him, Sgt. Hunter (my other sigfig). I am quite pleased with Morgan's sniper rifle and Hunter's bazooka.

WC Morgan: "Send forth all legions, do not stop until Sirius is taken."

Sgt. Hunter: "ok then..." O.o

"Hey look! No hands!"

Just snoozin' next to a live autocannon...

Poking a burning crater with a PlasmX rifle with a highly explosive plasma battery. What could possibly go wrong?

Marine on the left: "Check out what I smuggled from the Commander's own ration: a Raspberry flavored COPcake!"

Marine on the right: "Dude, I'll trade you two plain-flavored ones for that..."

Anyway, thanks for looking! Feedback appreciated as always.

Oh my. Last comment was almost a year ago. Anyways, do you organize your bricks by colour? If not, how so? I am trying to organize mine by colour, with some exceptions, but I think that will making colour specific builds a lot easier. AKA, building COP things will be easier.

Quoting corey lopez Looks nice but on a side note, did WH40K inspire this cause it looks close to one of Chaos's tank designs.
yeah, a Vindicator... Soon I'll be posting the COP's version of a Baneblade...

I'll be bold,"That plow doesn't strike terror into my heart!" It would if it was a bit wider, though. :P 4/5

Nice tank. Just lacking a shovel to remove dead bodies off the plow.

Thought it was bigger. How many COPers does it hold?

Quoting John Moffatt That's a fantastic tank, but how many strings did that grunt have to pull to get officers rations? Ian and I were talking the other day about COPcakes. I believe they come in a brick, which is fed into a machine, hydrated, and re-congealed in to cupcake pans. Then they're topped with some black marmite. http://ilforno.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/marmite.jpg <---- Marmite
Thanks. And yeah I know what Marmite is... <--- from England :P And thanks everyone else for all the comments!

That plow doesn't strike fear into my heart, it makes me wish I had one, it's the first day of spring and it's snowing. Yay.... Very cool build, looks pretty tough.

I'm digging the rifle and loving the tank. Sorry if I'm not specific enough, but the tank looks a bit messy. But still, excellent work!

I just love this chunky goodness! I have a definite soft spot for siege guns too! Great work, I'll just feed these to my Devastators... http://mocpages.com/moc.php/126324 I really need to get around to doing another tank for the 18th!

It is weird that so great a vehicle has had so little attention. . .great tank! My two favorite parts in the build are probably the main gun and the sniper rifle. Might have to copy some of that goodness (if you don't mind). Also, the small size is great. Should make it easier to build multiples! Keep 'em coming!
