I thought about this category, for not much time at all actually. Immediately I started thinking literally, and I got to this right away.
This took about two days to conceive, prototype, and then enhance to the final product.
I'm extremely happy with the outcome.
You've got to have a extreme eye for detail to find the one word I edited into this photo.. You can see the connection on the bottom here.
Just like an old western right? This is by far my favorite fleshie face.
And a final full underside shot. I had a lot of fun landscaping the whole bit, it was challenging to work on a shifty, turnable surface. I had fun creating "evil" blackened shrubs for the enemy's side.
Thank YOU for taking the time to look at this creation.
Okay, first off, this is brilliant! Secondly, the build is absolutely incredible! Third, the scene is awesome, plus the title is great: "In a Twisted Sense"! Are you getting it yet? I like this creation!!!!!
This is an epic creation! Truly, literally twisted! The way you did the stand is really nice because it is good-looking, but keeps a low profile so that the awesomeness of the main build can be showcased. Finally, a question: is gravity twisted on this world too?
Ya know, that's not exactly what we had in mind when we came up with the category but MAN did you knock it out of the park on this one! Way to think outside the box here and not only a great concept, but a great build to back it up as well! 5 points! ~ Chris.
You've got a real skill for designing unique, cleanly built creations, Alex! I like how you took the category "Twisted" literally! I'm betting the judges are going to love this; I hope you get a perfect score, because this really deserves it!
