All you need to build the Monopoly assistant is the Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 set (8547).
On the back of the Monopoly Assistant you find a support. So you can set it on the table. The support is also handy to hold the Assistant in your hand.
The display shows you how to control the Monopoly Assistant. You use the NXT buttons (the right, the left and the orange button) to navigate through the menus on the screen.
To roll the two dice (die A and die B) you press the touch sensor. Then the display shows you what you rolled.
When you pay or get money, you have to select the right player. To do this you put the right bal into the holder. Each player has her own color.
After you select the player, you have to select the right amount. To do this you turn the wheel on the left.
After selecting the right amount, the Monopoly Assistant calculates your new balance/saldo. You see your new balance on the screen. You can also find the balances of all the players in one of the menus.

i like the concept, built it, but i just can't get to the programming stage. it just says LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT encountered an error opening the program file at "". How do you get rid of that message? I need a step by step walkthrough of how you program this assistant.
