LDT-Light Deployment Tank. Well I've been a part of the NEOS group for a while and I finally decided that it was time that I made something for it. Plus the only group theme that I've been posting in for the last few months has been AEGAKS.
About this creation
This is my first try at a large wheeled vehicle. If anyone has any tips on building sci-fi tanks then that would help.
Finally found a use for those useless mando helmets.
An attempt at greebling.
I finally figured out how to create white backgrounds.
Very great tank. Nice detail, shape, and figures! The wheels really add a nice touch to the overall creation, along with the detail on the top, and the color scheme is something else that makes it good. If it had a different pattern of colors, it may not have been the same. The only thing i can possibly think of is to change the back a little, but i can't really think of a great way to do that, with the little right triangle pieces, because they are needed, so overall, this is a creation that certainly stands out from a crowd!

sorry to bother you again crash, I umm have Gimp, and it looks great, but where is the threshold button you speak of? Thanks.
The threshold is actually a bar that you can slide back and forth with a counter beside it. Here's where I learned how to make a white background. He has pictures. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/202271
Well I use a program called GIMP and in there is a "select by color tool" if you click on that and then set the threshold to 32.7 (that's the number I use but I take the picture son a background that's already white but looks tan, might be different for green backgrounds) click on the part of the background that you want to be white and it should select the whole background. But you do need the entire background to be the same color. And then you click on the "Bucket Fill Tool" and you change the color to white or whatever color background you want and then click on the background. If the creation is long enough so that it splits the background in two you'll have too click on both sides. Sometimes for me some of the tan stays around and looks like a smudge on the screen I just click on that part and it goes away. But don't click on your shadows as that will turn those white.
