What's cool? Star Wars. What's also cool? Post-Apoc. What's even cooler than both of these? Invader Zim. But this MOC has nothing to do with Invader Zim, this MOC is about a Post-Apocalyptic Star Wars Universe. THE STORMPOCALYPSE
This is a world where things burn. A lot. It adds to the atmosphere. Literally, as most of it has been replaced with smog from the constant fighting and nuclear war.
Frogs have adapted to survive where rebels have not. It waits for the patrol to pass, so it can snag the coat. There's a war on, and good coats are hard to come by.
In fact, the atmosphere has gotten so bad even Imperial Stormtroopers have had to augment their normal rebreather systems.
Here we see a small patrol of soldiers passing a ruined building, likely destroyed in a recent attack.
And now for the really cool thing from this build: The walker.
Everybody loves walkers in Star Wars. They're not the least bit practical, but gosh darnit are they cool. This one appears to be made of scrap. Even so, it manages to remain Star Destroyer gray. No matter how bad things are, you can never have too many standards.
Or perhaps it was modified from an existing walker, using parts from other walkers. Who can say?
We can say it's operated by an ex-Tie Pilot though. Note the stylish black apparel.
Also, it can walk. Take THAT physics! We just beat you with the power of Lucas!

It is a good concept and the walker is quite nice as a stand-alone build, but I am not feeling enough of the post-apocalypse in the whole scene. |
