LCV "Savant"
A Light Combat Vehicle, the Savant was used prior to the deployment of the SPA 101 Gosans. It even saw action during the Second Robot War in the Sentai Province.
About this creation

Part of the SPA's main combat force during the Initial Robot Rebellion and War, these Light Combat Vehicles, or LCVs, were easily produced and fielded. Their light armor and weapons couldn't stand up to the drone however, prompting the SPA to commission the SPA 101-MDS Gosan for combat duty.

After the end of the First Robot War, the LCVs were decommissioned as battlefield equipment and instead were reused as tactics training equipment for the SPA Military Academy. They were painted orange to denote this. After the Second Robot War took a turn for the worst, and the Industrial Sector was lost, the LCVs were rearmed and used to bolster the Gosan squads. The LCVs played significant roles in convoy protection during the Evacuation of the Urban Sector.

The operator of this particular LCV is Tabitha. She rescued this Artillery Missile variant from being destroyed during action in one of the settlements that her squad had been assigned in.

General Seino strongly dislikes the AEGAKS machines, and has his own pet projects that he sees to. One such project is the SEMP(Singularity Electro-Magnetic Pulse) Cannon, seen here mounted on a Savant LCV. This powerful weapon could fire only once, but had enough power to shut down any non-Overseer drone for up to five minutes, as well as any and all electrical equipment within range of the pulse.

Procedure dictated that a warning would be given to all AEGAKS pilots and combat personnel to shut off their equipment before the pulse to prevent friendly fire. While the given pulse did not harm living tissue, any pilot in an active Gosan would have their brain permanently fried. The SEMP Cannon proved to be a very powerful defensive weapon despite its serious drawbacks and its one time firing.

BONUS VIGNETTE:

"Where one life ends..."

"...Another begins in its place. Such is the world that we live in."

During the Evacuation of the Urban Sector, LCVs were used by the SPA to escort convoys of refugee vehciles with moderate success, due to their ability to fight and still keep pace with the convoys.

Unfortunately, many of these LCVs were destroyed along the way, sacrificing their lives in the hopes that the lives they were safeguarding would make it to the relative safety of the Agricultural Sector.

This unfortunate LCV was wrecked by enemy drones in the park-like outskirts of the Urban Sector near the bridge that connected the Urban Sector to the Agricultural Sector. When General Seino led the charge back into the Urban Sector, the troops found numerous cases of these derelicts being overgrown and rusted out in their absence.

CREATOR'S NOTES:

Well, another relatively simple build. I just don't have the patients for a complex build lately. It started out as a SAM turret, but then I gave it wheels, and the rest just formed around it.

OH well, I was rather fond of the vig, hoped you fellas liked it!

Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free Also, I Have An Inqury For You, Since It Is Your Theme, I Have No Authority In The Matter, But I Have To Ask If The MOCs Added To My Group By legofan4ever Ariel Are AEGAKS, Since It Appears That The Frame Is Based Around The Pilot Block, Meaning That It's More Like The Limbs Are What Is being Ejected, Not The Block. Which Destroies The Mech As It Ejects The Block. As This Is Not Up To Me, I had To Ask You. Also, legofan4ever Ariel If You Happen To Be Reading This, I Am Not Saying That You Are A Horrible Builder, Not At All, I Assure You. Like I Said, I Felt That I Had No Place To Answer Said Question, So I Had To Write The Comment.
Of legofan4ever's builds, only the Blaze and Old yellow qualify as actual AEGAKS. The rest are not. I'm not saying that L=legofan4ever is horrible, either. Improvements have been made, and style is being developed.

Quoting Ced The Clever I like it, and I really like the EMP design. I was REALLY fond of that Vig, seriously. All the story is a good touch too. Later.
Thanks, I think that may have been my best vig to date, albiet the simplest.

Quoting Jesse Long Wow, I like your little vehicles. The only things that I don't like on the LCV Savant are: 1. it needs a gray 1x2 studless plate on top of the twin cannons, 2. it needs some 2x2 round studless plates on the wheels, and 3. it needs a single large clear window as opposed to the two smaller clear ones that it has on there currently. Other than that, it's a nice idea on your expanded universe of a LEGO theme that I thought got too little love from LEGO. It's nearly SNOT, it has smooth curves, and it has a perfect, very space-like/futuristic feel.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm considering the first two suggestions. They were good points. But I think I'll leave the windshield as it is. I like the roomy angular feel that it gives in contrast to the sleek curves of the armor plating. And I have to agree. Exo Force had a lot of untapped potential, and it's ashame it fizzled out like it did.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback. I do want the Project AEGAKS story to seem desperate. Humanity is fighting for its right to exist. You would use any resource you had as well, wouldn't you? Even old, outdated equipment is better than laying down, waiting to die.

What a cute little truck, very nice. I agree with Luiz's sentiments that it really brings out the desperation behind project AEGAKS. The vig has to be my favorite part, it reminds me of a photo of the rusted out hulk of a WWII tank, sitting in some overgrown field somewhere.

You already know my opinion about it but I want to make it public. I love the retro and melancolic feel in this one. The LCV look so weak compared with the drones and AEGAKS that truly gives an impression of it being a desperately try to survive, one last resource. The vig is simple yet very deep.

Quoting Mike C I really do like small vehicle builds like this. They are simple but so much fun to do. I'm almost finished on a build that could be the big brother verison if the Savant.
They are fun to do. I look foreward to seeing what you come out with!
