An entry for a superhero contest
About this creation

Outside their remote hidden hideout, members of Prime-8, the simian terrorist organisation, ready their deadly banana ballistic! Time is running out for humanity. The evil yet funky Gorilla mastermind Bobo T Silverback prepares to pull the switch which will launch the fruit-based megaweapon at Capital CityÖÖ

But wait! Our heroines arrive in the nick of time! Charging to the rescue is Aunty Gravity, wielding the Newtonian shield and her powers to manipulate attractive bodies! Swinging in is Major Hottie, firepower and skimpy outfits rolled into one!

Tangling with a monkeywrench is Miss Behaving, the feisty thrill seeker out to start a riot!

Watch out though ladies, Bobo calls on Gorilla Warfare, his cybernetic bodyguard. The awesome ape attacks, who will prevail? Tune in next time!

Notes

My entry for Category 2: Good Vs Evil Scene, in Atinís Superhero contest in the Lego Contest Network Group on Flickr. Also, my first time trying out my new light tent, and I like the results!

Thanks for looking.

It must be a truly wonderful place inside that head of yours. Like Monte Python, Chaucer, and Doctor Who all competing for an equal share of attention.

Quoting Stuart Delahay My break after the MOC-O's was just what I needed, but beware - It's ruddy hard to get going again.

Aunty Gravity is hypnotic. Hehe ... Cool details all over. Never knew bananas can be that deadly.

Thanks everybody! Just for those remotely bothered, I placed 2nd, which won me some nice rare Brickarms prototypes, and this has also kick-started my competition and building urges for the year too. Good news for me!

This is a seriously awesome piece of work! Great characters and action, but I really like that hallway behind the Gorilla Mech. Well done!

Finally Iím here. I was so much looking forward to see this MOC and it was certainly worth the waiting. So many brilliant ideas, like Gorilla Warfare (my favourite), the Newtonian shield, Boboís space weapon and a lot of deadly Vitamin C. The picture quality is very good, but it depends on the monitor, thatís true. Another additional light is a good idea though; sometimes you canít have enough of them. Best of luck in the contest.

Welcome back Stu!!! Yay, those pics look sweet. I really need to invest in a light tent. The gorilla in that final image is adorable.

My only beef is a lack of good shots of the base in the background, it looks yummingly greebled. Punny stuff, mate.~H

Great pun-filled build... I really like all the detail you've put into the background, especially the gorillas' base entrance receding into the scene. Lovely stuff! Your photos certainly look better than mine ever do - I need to read up on photography, clearly.

The pics look fine on my pooter, for what it's worth. As far as the build, I see you resolved to find a place for the banana. Nice. And you are yourself a wielder of Hamiltonian physical building skills. No, wait, you are just a big ham. (Now I'm thinking, you and Shifu either don't get that reference, or you are rolling your eyes and possibly gagging.)

Quoting Heath 'kik36' Flor Miss Behving is a sweet looking character! Great job on the scene man! To me, the pics look overly dark. Not sure if it's my comp, it's on purpose, or it's the light tent. Not judging mate, as my pics look like shyte most of the time, but wanted to let you know how they're comin' across.
Thanks man, you know I appreciate the honesty. I wonder about that, and with the point about Aunty Gravity's pants - those are actually pearl gold legs and they certainly look OK on my monitor here at work/ sufficiently different to the yellow arms and face. I did wonder about brightness levels too, I think I need another light with that tent Dare I say it, they actually look a little clearer on Flickr..... Thanks for the nice comments peeps!

Fabulous scene! My fave part is the bannana gun; very destructive looking! Like someone below me said, I hope Aunty doesn't walk around in public like that, though; she might get an "indecent exposure" charge on her record! :P
