Well, I finally been on MOCpages for a year now, so I'm going to tell you what good things came out of being on MOCpages, and the bad things. (Mostly good!!)
About this creation
Hello, so I'm first going to tell you my history from Day 1:
So, when I first joined the 'Pages, I just treated MOCpages not as a doorway to Stardom, or not even to just get well known. The reason I wanted to join MOCpages was because I was among you: Fellow MOCers. I had 1 goal: To be a better builder. Before I hit the "Create My Account" button, I asked myself "Do I want to be known over the 'Pages?" A year ago, I would have said "Yes", but for those new MOCers that want to be noticed, I have 1 tip for you, O.K., maybe a few tips:
#1: Don't expect people to notice you at first. When I first joined, I would almost literally check every hour to see what people have commented on. Now, I have one principal: Make a good MOC and people will comment, in a good way.
#2: Don't rush on being noticed. Start out small, and end up big.
Now on to the Pros and Cons of MOCpages:
Pros: It helped me go from this:
To building something like this:
So, my point across is that I've improved. Yes, no, maybe so?
Now to the Cons (Cue scary music!!!)
THERE ARE NO CONS!!!!!
This year was an exciting year, but I would like to owe my thanks to Noah Davidson, who was the first person to call me their favorite. Thank you Noah. I would like to owe my thanks to an opponent in the Great Greeble Contest. That would be Dominick Sinclair. However, he left MOCpages without saying goodbye. I want to say thanks for being a great opponent. I know, it sounds funny, but in my opinion, I wouldn't have asked for a better opponent. Also, I want to thank MR. LEGO for inviting me to the Great Greeble Contest and for being awesome.
