A-Team Van 1:18
This is my 1:18 scale A-Team van (16 studs wide) from the 2010 movie. This has been built for quite some time but i couldn't resist trying to perfect it. I really dont want to dismantle it as i like it too much. It will probably get better in time, The front is not quite right, the bull bar on the front could be better needs to be 14 wide and could only work out to use an 8 and 6 rod to make it. will think of something one day... The front and side doors dont open but the back do. The roof comes completely off so you can see the detailed interior, i don't think it's accurate to the real van but it's the way i'd have it. The bonnet, dash board and windscreen are one unit so you can easily remove them to reveal the detailed V8 engine and front seats. In the back is one swivel chair and a war chest on each side of the van, you will find any tool or weapon you need to make your escape. The van is twin engined (it has two pull-back motors on the rear wheels, it really needs one on each wheel as it's so heavy. This will get better, opening doors and sliding side access. I have other priorities. De Tomaso Pantera Hope you like it :)

Suh-weet!! My guess on the right side drive is that you live somewhere that all cars are just that way. Which is cool. All your cool features equal one thing... "I love it when a plan comes together." Great build.~cheers

An epic MOC from one of my favorite shows, even though this is the movie version, the movie was really good too. I really like all the details you put into it, but why is the steering wheel on the right side? (I think some one else pointed that out too). It is a really nice MOC all around, would be really impressed if you managed the sliding door some day, they are really hard to do in LEGO.

Yeah, this brings me back to the 80's in style. I pitty the fool who doesn't endorse this model. The engine was especially well done, you obviously left no stone unturned on this one. I have to admit that it took me a second to get past the lack of windows, but I can dig some outside the box thinking. Mr. T would dig it, I'm sure.

Quoting R. H. I like all the details you put on the interior, and I imagine those 2 pull back motors get it moving pretty well.
Thanks for your comments. If I had 4 motors I'd put two on the front as well, it struggles because it's so heavy lol

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 ok, as an a-team fan i must say that it s inacurate on many levels, as the PUNISHER s battle van...it s absolutely awesome! and, the interior looks just right! your van looks so massive, it s like it s armored! while the a-team s van is sporty cool, the punisher s much heavier! and...full packed with great looking weapons, as is yours! i hope you get to see it someday, as you did a great job on it! bravo!
Thanks Frank! I used to read the punisher comics he's my favourite :) i think i always had his van in mind all along, it's definately the inspiration for the interior and the guns and gadgets. Glad you like it!
