Homefront inspired Dio
Please Excuse the name, I really suck at naming stuff :P Heavily inspired by Homefront (The Video game) and Jericho ( 2006 - 08 TV show) And credit to Monster Brick (On flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/monsterbrick/ ) for the tricycle in the main pic. Also, this is my first modern Military Dio, so, I guess you could say I'm expecting a lot of criticism :P
About this creation
As suggested by Eric 'Hawk' Mickle, Here's a Synopsis for Homefront
Homefront takes place in the year 2024, North and south Korea have been united by Kim Jong-un (I hope I spelled that right) creating Unified Korea, and- wait a sec, why am I trying to explain this when you can just watch it yourself on youtube?
Here's the back story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5yyWZ2Z6Ps

I really like the way this pic came out...

I keep getting told by people that I need better descriptions for my models

as you can probably tell, I suck at that :P

I was trying to capture the "Abandoned" look with the house, don't know how good I did with that...

I think I did a good job on the Basketball hoop, don't you??

I normally hate asking for instructions but could you create instructions for the tank? If not could you maybe take more picture of it, its by far one of the greatest M1 tanks Ive seen that dosnt require millions of pieces!

Sorry... but this MOC leaves very little to criticize. Your tank is absolutely amazing, the minifigs look ready to through down and blast some new breathing holes in their enemies, and the whole diorama has an excellent look of abandonment. Great work, all around!

Trust me, you did do a good job at doing the "abandoned" look. That tank is pretty darn good.

I've got inspired by this game too. I built a goliath like drone, I called it Tek. And your diorama, it's fantastic, everything is well built. The best is the house with its garden 5/5

whoa, you critisize yourself way to much. this is good. the house looks abandoned, and if you set the goal up some mini-figs could play. you've also got brickarms weps and helmets to add the realism in to. to top it all off, you've got an accurate tank. the one thing i think you lack a little is in your presentation. instead of downgrading yourself, try to be up beat.

This is very powerful and eerie. That first image gave me shivers. My city has recently suffered an earthquake and it reminded me of the quiet, dead, damaged homes all around me, homes that have been abandoned, leaving everything exactly as they were the moment the quake hit. Excellent dio. Fantastic detail and very skilfully designed.

This is magnificent. In such a small diorama and with such a small amount of very persuasive details you have actually made me feel uncomfortable. It looks spooky, scary and magnificent at the same time! I bow to the master of build!

Quoting Logan Rader Was the tank made by you or was it a kit. If it was made by you, could you send me the instructions. I've been trying to make a tank forever, but it never looks right. If you can, could you send it to "commaderrader@yahoo.com" Thanks dude
It my design, but I haven't made any instructions (Yet) and I don't know if I'll ever get around to making some Instructions. And, thanks everyone!

Quoting Eric 'Hawk' Mickle Nice job! I think explaining a little that the Koreans took over America would prevent Blake from saying 'apocalyptic'. >Eric
Good Idea, let me edit that right now...
Quoting Bram Akkermans This looks terrific ! For the "Abandoned" look, maybe a few bullet holes in the walls would have been nice (1x1 technic bricks?). Oh, I'm still working on that Stargate by the way ! (The Stargate itself is finished, Now I'm waiting for the LugBulk to arrive ;) ) Greetings,, Bram.
if I had some 1 x 1 tan technic bricks, I would. Also, can't wait to see some pics of your SGC :D
