I recently found that you can link together these spears, and after fiddling with them for a while I finally figured out a pattern to get them in a circle. When they aren't in a complete circle they are very flexible and can be bent very far. You could make a much bigger circle with more spears.

Heh, I used this connection some time ago to make the front of a speeder (with 3 of them). The final product was not good, but I never gave up on the concept. This sculpture is very cool :)

They're not spears they're pikes but the name A THOUGHT ON SPEARS rolls of the tounge much more nicely . Good work . my lego is in storage and I am on summer vacation at my grandma's and I won't be posting any creations for a while so if you're still checking my page for new LEGO SYSTEM creations you can stop checking until maybe mid july-ish . Wow! Very creative, I'd love to see this put into good use... hmmm... it does look like a bicycle wheel (sorta), but I'm not sure if that would work. Good job on finding that connection though!
