Few years ago, I built Blurr (click
here for gallery) from excess light blue parts. I scrambled to get his
vehicle mode correct but articulation suffers. He's still one of my favorite
creation. Recently, I've set up new shelves and re-organising my display. I
tried to put Blurr side my side with my more recent LEGO creations, he pales in
comparison. So it's time to upgrade him, and finally Neo Blurr is born!

My first attempt at Blurr
As the name suggest, I am not trying to recreate Blurr's original vehicle
mode, but is trying to improvise it and make it sleeker, and as usual, cramming
in as much articulation as possible. There are a few ideas which were scrapped
during the construction:
- No more "antenna" on top of Blurr's head. Can't conceal it properly in
vehicle mode.
- Thought of making him a Targetmaster, but the rifle is going to end up
bulky and ugly.

speedster? hoverjet? hovercar? speedcar? I'm not sure!)

Transformation sequence

The final part of the transformation involves folding down both
vehicle mode tips to form the shoulders, rotating the head and of course, nudge
the chestplate 45 degree to the top. (Actually I'm typing these because I just
found I've lost the jpeg file containing visuals for this part of
transformations )
