i beleive it just generates the MOTD randomly from old creaions in the database, some believe there is a complex algorythm

how do you get to be "in the runnings" i guess you could say, for MOTD?

Sweet. Hi have that exact G1 devastator except his one hand is broken so that sucks. Oh and even thought I am 12 years old I know what G1 is you can get season 1-4 on Netflix if you get the U.S. package for only an extra 5 dollars a month so you pay in total 13 dollars a month this is only a Canada deal. I can't believe you made this it is unbelievable at the detail.

It was just easier to get more reg green than the fluroscent green bricks! But I think neon green was a little ridiculous on the original anyway - how many neon green construction vehicles have you ever seen? LOL!

The culmination of months of excellent MOCing - and really lives up to expectations. Every detail of Devastator looks really close to the original, AND all the individual parts transform. Totally geewunderful (ouch)! I'm guessing he's got a bit more poseability than the original, but weight probably limits it a bit. What on earth are you going to do with all your free time now?

1) Xtra Parts just like the G1 toy - head and connector to join hook and long haul with additional joints for the shoulders to connect to bonecrusher and scavenger , two forearms and fists and a waste / thigh assembly to join the rest. All the joints for Devastator are ratchet type and connection points are ratchets or technic pins and sockets. 2) Third Party is a non Hasbro Company that makes a Transformer or accessory for an actual Hasbro toy. 3) Maybe movie guys from the new movie and glad you like this MOC! How can you top that? That's a difficult question. I don't think you can! I don't know if we should thank your job for all that stress or not. LOL Words...can't describe this Chris. Seriously. Legoformers, that transform with articulation, that merge into another with articulation as well. Oh... I came up with an idea on how to possibly top that: I can send the Unicron design for you to upgrade. Although I do have my own ideas for upgrades too.

very sturdy and posseable I learned lessons from fort max. He however needs a stand for any pose other than standing up straight since he is so heavy! So cool poses he needs his stand! Its also insurance so that he doesn't topple in my display case. Which happend twice during the building process but with minimal damage, see real sturdy!

I will likely not be building anymore 2 foot tall guys but I still have lots of bricks to turn into 10" tall masterpieces! And I may slow down a little because I have lots of landscaping and renovations to do to the house this spring and summer! But full retirement that was a little sarcasm on my part! But how could I top this!!!

Except for the black stand that holds this beast this would be your masterpiece so far. The wrong colors and the stability is something that could be imroved in the future. Have you scaled him? I bed the weight is sooo heavy! Good job!

Too awesome for words. G1 Devastator has always been one of my favourite combiners. How is the poseability on the big guy? I would presume that along with weight and individual transformable limbs there would be some degree of fragility that inhibits more dynamic poses?

Actually I just applied for a marketing job at Lego Canada, wish me luck! In all honesty though we will likely never see Hasbro and Lego team up since Hasbro has come out with a few Lego-ish block models already with more planned!

I've have some of those joints so do Fort Max's shoulders, although sturdy, they won't give me articulation in more than one plane like a ratchet joint.

WOOOOOW!!!!! It's finished and just as amazing as I thought it would be! I love that this guy is like 10 times bigger than the original toy. This build proves that you are the Lego T-former master (not that I had any doubts)!

I could not get enough bright Green an Purple Lego in the bricks I needed so alas classic Green and Blue it had to be. And yes this guy is real heavy but haven't weighed him yet. The stand is there to help with his weight problem!

You have completely out done yourself. This is really amazing. First he is huge. It looks very proportionately sized to the minfig. The fact that there are five other fully function transformer builds to make this creation is just stupendous. I actually got disappointed when you said you where retiring from making transformer MOCs. I’m glad it was only a joke I’d have to harass you out of that retirement. All kidding aside incredible job.
