Hi, I'm Phil Spencer. This week we are checking out a Victorian terraced house on the outskirts of London. It is a practical fixer-upper with loads of potential. The vendor has just put it on the market and it won't last long. I think you will love it.
About this creation

This Victorian terreaced house was built in the late 19th century. It is reminisce of the Italianate architecture from earlier that century with the large bay window and pointed exterior features. Time to take a look inside.

As you can see, the lower level was renovated in the 1950's when the front reception room was knocked through to create this large open plan living area.

There is plenty of room to kick back and watch the game, or have a romantic candle lit dinner with the missus. Oh la, la!

The kitchen was part of the original renovation. It is quite small, but I have a few ideas on that front. Come with me and have a look outside.

Here you can see the original extension that was used to create the kitchen. The back patio area was added at that time too.

Now my idea for the kitchen would be to build in this patio area and bring the kitchen through. It would make a great kitchen diner that would fit in perfect with the rest of the house.

Well, enough of the downstairs, lets take a look up the top.

Upstairs is still in its original layout.

The bathroom room is very dated, but it gets the job done. If you go ahead with the kitchen extension, it would be an excellent time to give the bathroom a makeover.

And down the hall here is the bedroom.

The bedroom is a great size. This wall is in an odd location though...it would not be a big job to put a walk in robe here. Anyway, let's make our way back down.

There you have it. Like I said, loads of potential here for the astute buyer. What do you think, is it time to put in an offer?

What a great house - love the colors and parts usage. A particular favorite was the bathroom sink - very inventive. |

Hahaha the fact that Spiderman lives there is awesome! The HGTV tour is really funny! I like this house, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for the commitment of home ownership just yet... that lawn may look small now, but I don't wanna mow it when it's 4 bricks high. :) |

I really like this house, both outside and in! However, what I think tops it all off is your marvellous commentary as you take someone for 'the tour' ... :) |

Hey - looks great - very whimsical. I especially like the use of basic bricks - such as the staircase and bathroom sink. I think I will just steal a few of those ideas. |
