I've scrapped a few Pokemon, that picture is all I had at the time. I only build Gen. 1 and 2 Pokemon because they're my favorite. Gen. 3 and beyond hold little interest for me.

You haven't really put all your pokemon in your group shot like sanslash and gengar but I guess you didn't put them because those and some of your others are not minifig scale PS.Why do have only have pokemon that are from Kanto and Johto?

Large Pokemon are the easiest to make if you have the parts, they require less tricky connections and tiny details that small Pokemon often require. Black or grey Pokemon are also a bit easier in my experience because so many sets have specialty parts in those colors. Clips and minifig hands are my favorite things to use when building Pokemon. Drop a comment my way when you post them, I want to see your sneasel! :)

I got the design from Deus. There's a 1x1 brick with the studs on all sides in there, and a couple of studs topped with a dish get connected, and then the rest are held in by friction.

do you mind making a how-to for a bunch of them? i can't figure out how to make some of them. i got geodude, but the colors are of, and beedrill but i don't have the parts. and for some reason i can't get psyduck to work :/ anyway it would be cool if you could make a how-to on the easiest and the most playable ones.

That team nova looks good. A lot of the Pokemon you have made look awesome(for example Beedrill is unbelievable!) :)

I'm overdue for some major scrapping. It's just hard to decide what to scrap and what to keep.

You always use some of the cleverest micro connections and techniques I've seen in these. That picture of your total collection made my jaw drop. I have a hard time keeping my MOCs intact. :P

Eevee is actually pretty basic. The only difficult attachment is the head. Basically, you have to put the minifig hands on just right so that they push the white clip-tile into the brown head tile with enough friction that it stays there. The rest is just a robo arm and two round studs stuck on a 1x2 plate.

Nice to see such an avid Pokemon fan. the models are epic and incredibly detailed for such a small size, you put lego's official mini models to shame. Hope to see loads more as they are a great inspiration

Thanks for all your input, most people who don't know much about these themes don't even bother commenting, or leave just a few words. You, on the other hand, have lots to say on the build, even if the theme is unknown to you. :)

i never understood the buzz around those, i guess i was too old, once again, i see those as elements for my city stories, as monsters or mechanical treaths! as such, a few models are outstanding! mostly some gray and some yellow models, i don t know their names, but, your design was great on them! good work cody!

Holy $#*! cody!!! dude i haven't made anything in so long but after seeing this i want to replicate yours just to have (not to post of course, you know how i feel about stealing). These are freaking great. On a real not though the larger ones, stunning. However I can see your pain with the smaller ones, there just isn't much you can do with only 3-4 pieces. You nevertheless managed to do it well. 5/5
