Pharaoh Crown
The double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt
About this creation
Hello everybody,
a Pharaoh is not a real one if he doesn't wear the Pschent, the white and red crown of Upper and Lower Egypt.

The Pschent, pronounced /ˈskɛnt/ (from the Greek transliteration ø÷åíô), was the name of the Double Crown of Ancient Egypt. The Ancient Egyptians generally referred to it as sekhemti (sḫm.tỉ), the Two Powerful Ones. It combined the Red Deshret Crown of Lower Egypt and the White Hedjet Crown of Upper Egypt.
The invention of the Pschent is generally attributed to the First Dynasty pharaoh Menes, but the first one to wear a Double Crown was First Dynasty pharaoh Djet: a rock inscription shows his Horus wearing it.

I made this custom piece: it is in ABS with glossy finition.
I hope you like it!

Quoting Morgan Angus I am a great fan of history, Egypt in particular, and I wondered if you sell those headresses. I'm not trying to make you sell me one if you don't have anymore or if you don't want to. Anyways, these are much more historicly accurate then lego's crown. Great job!
Dear Morgan, thanks for your kind words. I tried to create them the most accurately way possible. I sell them on my Bricklink store http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Dan76 Please feel free to ask me for any question.
