Well after a few weeks of no activity, Im back. In my opinion, this is a very accurate model. I am sure there are many flaws with it. Well here it is.

About this creation

The inspiration for this came when i was looking for something to do. Since i still have my Corsair built, I thought I should build another Pacific fighter. Well really bomber. If you want to be even more specific a DIVE bomber. YES, YES, i know it is SUPPOSED to be light blue but please tell me how many sets recently have a large amount of LIGHT BLUE parts in it? i have almost none. The first model of this was ok. I started with experementing with canopy designs when i remembered the canopy of a Dauntless. So I started and it turned into this. And for all you Purists out there, NO i did not harm any pieces in this...........wait..........I did cut a light grey technic/system pin. one of those small ones. but that was to secure the radio wire to the pole on the nose. but that is it. there are a few illegal connections but all of us do that. SO please enjoy.

I have a model of this plane, and this is identical to it. Great job! Fact: An SBD Dauntless was found in Lake Michigan. It was restored and can now be seen at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, MI.

neat one of my favorite aircraft. very nice job on the fuselage and landing gear. the front windscreen is a little flat though but still the model looks great.

very accurate. you have put my unposted one to shame. the only inaccurate thing about it is the wings. on a real SBD, the wings curve slightly in the middle of the wing, which is almost impossible to do unless its on UCS scale.
