I present you my entry for TFOL PC
Assassination Contest. Assassination of JFK.
About this creation
This was first time I have tried to make FP photo and I am not glad with it.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK) was born on May 29 in
1917. He was 35th President of USA, serving from
1961 until his assassination in Dallas on November 22
in 1963. JFK was/is only Catholic American president.
He also won a Pulitzer Prize. He was famous for some
of his speechs and events that happened during his
presidency (Bay of Pigs Invasion, Cuban Missile Crisis,
building of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, West Berlin
Speech, early years of Vietnam War etc.).
He was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Lee Harvey
Oswald was charged for murder but was shot by Jack
Ruby before trial.
I don't know how whole scene looked like, neither I have enough pieces to make it bigger,
but I am glad with how MOC turned out. I don't even know was his wife there.
Some wierd figs are here just because I wanted to have them in this MOC. :D
Also, I am not sure how to make Kennedy or his wife so I made them best possible with my pieces.
First two pictures consider as my entry, everything else shows how MOC really looks like.
This picture shows Kennedy in car with his wife (mostly hidden) in focus, and
murderer/assassin on one of the windows that's blured (lame FP).
This picture shows murderer/assassin with gun in focus and Kennedy and his wife in
car unfocused (a bit better FP).
Pics of the MOC. Enjoy!
(setup for those pictures wasn't something I worried about, so ignore "crates" on road
on some of the pics and plate with figs missing on some picstures)
Proof that overhang isn't bigger than 4 studs.
And this is how it ended. JFK died 30 minutes after the assassination.
Quoting Paul Romano
Interesting build! Not too sure why you used Kennedy's "I am a Berliner" speech title for the name:)
That inspired me to make this entry. First I wanted to make (unsuccessful) assassination of
Karol Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II), but because it would need much better FP and bigger base I quit from that idea. =(
Good work!Only thing that would make the scene look more dramatic would be Black and white editing!
Edit: maybe you should also put a blank head on the assassinator as a sign of not knowing who he is even today.
Amazing job, dude. But watch out, my entries coming later today... I hope. Still, excellent. The just-at-4 stud overhang is perfect! I think your interpretation of J.F.K is great. I also like how general Grievous is there.... something's fishy...
