Oops, I did it! Once started with the windscreen I couldn't resist and rebuilt the whole model in LDD :-). You can see the result here, if you want: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/285727 Now I've got to get the parts to build it in real life :-). Thanks for the inspiration, Ben
As you said, the windscreen ist the only part that doesn't fit as well as the rest. Still the result ist fantastic for the small scale.
I'd try a SNOT windshield like the rest of the front: The white line as a 1x4 tile with a 1x4 SNOT converter above (just like the red/green one below). With transparent cheese wedges and tiles you have a lot of possiblities to choose from.
The diasadvantage of this design: A small gap between the white line and the windshield. I'd give it a try.
Anyway, I already love this MOC as it is now :-))
Edit: Ooops, I just noticed that the 1x4 tile can't be fixed with no studs below :-o. You could try a 2x4 tile instead...
Edit (2): I've given it a try with LDD. Take a look if you want: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/285690
