So I make these moderately cool legs in real life and then find out that I don't have the parts to make a mech for them, so I remake it in LDD so I can finish it and then I get stumped. So if anyone could give me an idea for how I should finish it then that would be really cool. And if anyone wants to download it and mess around with it feel free to do so.
(PSSSST! i just saw your comment in andrews xeno tech thing (of wich i am a member) and it left me with just one question: who the heck are you?) (PS you didn't see anything)*disapears*
Very nice legs. The feet look excellent! I might suggest one of those leg-mounted turrets... so something like this masterpiece!

Hey, I might play around with this design. once again, I love how you did the feet.
I've got a fair number of models that are based off a very similar frame to this one. Most of them have a corresponding LDD file as well, if you wanted to take a look.
Mecha isn't really my bag, but I think you are off to a good start. I do agree with one of the other commenter that said you might want to widen the hips and drop the torso down in it a bit. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Nice legs, but they don't look nearly humanoid enough to make a humanoid mecha. You could duplicate them, beef the back ones up a bit, and make a zoid, that would be pretty cool. Or you could widen the legs a lot, lower the chassis, and build a non-humanoid walker. Be sure to add plenty of missiles either way. :)
Hmm. Compound legs then? You can go many different paths with legs like these. You could build a mody with more in common to MechWarrior styles, longer more squat torso, or a humanoid torso would fit it well too. ^Blub^
