Just a little tablescrap, nothing special, in fact this is probably my worst creation yet...HAHA got ya :P I worked hard on Magmagear, In fact he is probably my tallest and most detailed Dark hunter yet! Enjoy :D Credit goes to Shadowflame and Shadowgear :D
About this creation
Occupation: Dark Hunter
Element: Shadow and Fire
Power: Magmagear has little powers, other then shear strength and large fire and shadow abilites
The Shadowed One's Description: "A ruthless, cunning and powerful giant, Magmagear is one of my best! He never fails a mission, and gets the job done right!"
Race: Clockwork (Was a Dark Hunter experiment)
Title(s): Monster, Assassin, Gearhead, Giant, Nightmare, Dark Hunter
Weapon(s): Claws, stretchy arms, twin lava launchers
Story: Magmagear started off as a Dark hunter experiment, The experiment went perfectly and he became the towering giant that he is today! Magmagear has never failed a mission, that is why he is one of The Shadowed One's most trusted men. The Shadowed One prefers to send Magmagear on harder, more dangerous mission, like taking over or destorying bases or assassinating ex-Dark Hunters. On one of Magmagear's missions, he was sent to capture a protodermis factory which would one day become a Dark Hunter base. Magmagear forced the matoran workers at the base to clear the facility of all the protodermis, in order for it to become a base. As the workers were clearing the base of the protodermis, they sprung a leak and a pipe exploded, all the protodermis that came out of this pipe went all over Magmagear. The Matoran thought they had killed him, but instead they had made Magmagear even more powerful but smaller then he once was. Magmagear had also lost all his Shadow powers, they had been replaced with protodermis powers. After this mission Magmagear changed into an even better (but smaller) Dark Hunter (This smaller version will be version 2 of Magmagear, read the bottom for more) , Magmagear later went on to be the leader of the elite Dark Hunter team known as Rogue.
TO THE MOC!
Here is Magmagear :D I guess you could say it's a fire version of Shadowgear :P Also I'm still not 100% sure, but he might just be my biggect MOC yet!
A back shot of Magmagear, I used a lot of those Fire Lord pieces and lots of flame greebles on this guy :D Oh and for the record, I now have four Fire lords :P Three destroyed for pieces on one is the Element Lord of Fire :D
Just like on Shadowgear, Magmagear has stretchy arms :D
Now a shot of his hand, I have no idea why this picture is so dark :/ Hopefully it's not too bad for you guys :D
Here is one of his twin lava launchers :D Plus all the detail and greebles on his upper arm :D
Magmagear: What are you looking at!
His face, A lot like Shadowgears!
His hat down, the way he likes it :D Plus a better look at all his chest greebles and detail (Man did I put a lot of work into this guy!)
All of Magmagears torso :D
The back of his arm, I'm really happy with how this part turned out :D
His back :D I think that is one of my favourite pieces, the Mistika shield :D
I guess you could call this an armpit shot :P The side of Magmagears torso!
Here are his legs now :D I'm really happy with how they look :D
His hips and upper legs, I really like what I did with the top of the Fire Lord pieces :D
His lower legs and feet :D I re-did Shadowgears feet, In a way I think looks better, I'm not sure though, You do you think?
His legs from a side, more gears and greebles etc. :D
A closer look at this feet, like I said before, let me know what you think about them :D
He can...kinda fold his arms :P
About to kill a toa (They are about that height :P I never put in any comparison shots, not even with The Shadowed One :'( I don't know why I didn't! Anyway, he is massive!)
Magmagear: There's only room for one massive fire and Shadow Dark Hunter around these parts!
Well that's Magmagear!
And bad news guys, He took up A LOT of pieces so I'm going to have to kill him :/ But don't punch your computers in rage, he will be redone, if you read his bio you will see that he was mutated by protodermis, so he will be redone to about the same size as Mimic and will still be alive and awesome :D
Thanks again for viewing
Don't forget to rate and comment!
Quoting Ben Cossy
Now that's a work on art! Amazing work as always Berial! So glad I fav'd you :D Anyway, about the Bio-cup, thanks for your comment on Ancient ;) I just have a few questions, will you be making me a admin/judge? Or do you want me to just advertise it? Either way I'm cool :D I promise that tomorrow when I post something there will be a nice ad for you in it ;) Thanks for inviting me to this amazing opportunity my friend ;)
As I said,I not only would like you to help us advertise it,but I would also love to have you as a contestant!I'm sorry, but there are no room for judges anymore. In fact,we are overloaded with them, since we need five, but we have six,so someone is actually gonna need to leave their duties as a judge.Anyway,If you could wait untill everything is done and ready to start to advertise it,that'd great! And I thank you for being so receptive about this, you're really being of great help!Very good moc btw, very complex and big,I love how mechanical you made him look!

OK who's big idea was it to cremate shadow gear?!?! he looks alright, but it seems more like shadow gear being cremated....
Sorry i didn't comment on this. I must say this is one of my least favourite moc's from you. Technically it's very good but I can't get over how un original it is. I just looks like shadowgear with fire on it. Not trying to be mean but i just find it very very unoriginal.
What a brilliant idea Connor! I do plan on re-doing all the Toa Mata and I think I'll take your advice and do even more OOMN Revamps and creations :D Thanks for the idea ;) And thanks so much Cyberfrank! Your comments are always the best! If only I could comment that well! Anyway, thanks again, OH and I'll have my Sig Fig and team up tonight :D Hope you'll like them :D
hi ben! some of this looks pretty cool, while some other parts seems rushed or botched, what interest me most in this, is the new direction you seem to seek, gearing the members seem to me like a great way to improve on bionicles! not an easy task though! it inspires me to try, as for the 4 kits you used, i also do that, i like to buy in pairs, or not at all, i love symetry, so 2x, 4x, are my m.o. it s just right that YOU BEN, discover a new bionicle building technique, as i know no one else who could have experimented more... you deserve this! thanks for your support, and good luck!
I love the feel of him. Very industrial or something like that. You're excelent at making these creations quickly, which is good cause you're so good at it. If you feel like it sometime, check out my MOC sometime, this is awesome!

I don't know if anyone said this, but the feet should be bigger.
I like the idea, and the body structure is cool.
However, I do agree with the others, ankles, greebles, etc. The only other thing that bugs me, the waist seems off, maybe just because I'm use to the original one's. Overall, good MOC, small problems, but you have alot better stuff, man. :D
Great Dark Hunter. In my opinion the shoulders are a little to broad, but he's still great. I'm glad he can stand up decently for a tall MOC. My tallest MOC could barely stand. Hopefully he'll stand better in V2.
nice one. i only have 3 problems: you overgreebled it, mainly the chest. when building bigger mocs, what ive seen is that the greebling is made with the big pieces, rather then with bajillions of small pieces. If you put armor over this...his torso looks like a giant wedge of cake...his face need actual colored eyes. unlike 'gat, i dont see any problem with the ankles, I just see them as more mechanical. and agreeing again, this is definitely NOT your best, althoug it is very good.
OMG IDEA!!! do this with JUST those gears and it would look really organic, like the "organic" part of a bionicle! eh? eh? any takers?
anyways, this guy is a beast.
AWESOME SAUCE!!!!! I really like all the incredible greebling that I would NEVER be able to do. It must be really nice to post something and on that same day you get like thirty or forty I Like Its. Great job on the head too. Probably your most detailed Dark Hunter yet.;)
To point out the flaws, the ankles look a bit off with that gap there, and Adam's right about the arms not looking supported. The greebles also seem to have little to do with each other - just added according to what fits where and not what looks best, perhaps. To point out the... un-flaws? Looks pretty awesome from most angles, HUGE, and some parts look extremely detailed. I can't say this is your best though, by a long shot.
Thanks SO much guys! I so happy you all like him :D You really think so Chopper Skull? Well thank you! I totally agree 'Someone even less popular' that's why Dark Hunters are just so awesome! Don't you worry Legofreak, Magmagear is still alive and I'll do some more pictures tomorrow :D After that I'll kill him and make him better and smaller :D Sure thing Cardboard Wizard thanks! HAHA Sorry about that Chaos, but I promise you, in the near future you will be as epic as I am one day! Thanks for commenting ;) Johann, I am doing a lot huh! I am a very quick build, thanks for commenting ;) Thanks Nick! Thanks a bunch Frigidus! And yes, gotta love greebles :D I would too Cody! I'll do a comparison between him and my Owl :P Thanks Ethan! Glad you like him :D Thanks again everyone ;)
O.O *Picks jaw off the floor.* I really need to get some stuff from Bricklink. That's some awesome Dark Hunter you got there, love the gears, flames and the sheer-awesomeness! I feel like making another titan. Oh and about the feet, it is totally awesome, both are equally good!
Thanks Wertman! He doesn't stand very well :/ That's one of many reasons why I'm redoing him, and I'm glad you think he is WOWZA :D Oh and I gave Shadowgear credit! Thanks again buddy ;) And thanks Legobob :D
Just a little tablescrap, nothing special, in fact this is probably my worst creation yet... 0_o Oh it's not... Phew I was gonna say! FREAKIN AMAZING! This is your best Dark Hunter yet-Greebles, gears and FLAMES!!!! SSSSSOOOOO NNNNNIIIIICCCCCEEEEEOOOOO!
he looks realy unbalanced in the last pic. but so do all massive MOC's. I mean, without his tail, My Thanatos would be unable to stand :/ But this is so WOWZA!!!! But be careful Shadowgear don't see this and claim that you niked his idea! (But Shadowgear Takes a lot of ideas without credit) yeah, again bro, WOWZA!!! this is one epic worst moc ever! :D
Dude you know that the original Shadowgear is 22in tall and now since I have time I will put a review of him. The chest is nicely done, but it differs from the original which has basically only rods and pistons holding the upper body up. The feet are well done, but seem a bit too large in the front. The arms and legs are very well done probably my favorite part of him. The head has those technic pieces that look as if they hang there which gives him the really old look. (grandpappy) (lol) Overall I love him and 5/5 in all fairness, but I would give him a 7/5 but seeing that is not possible 5/5 will sufice. Those little kinks I'm sure you'll look into taking this advice and everyone elses for the smaller version.
While I do like it, it seems flawed to me...The arms don't seem to be supported, and you don't show us the legs bending. The legs also look a bit awkward compared to the rest of the body. And the greebling...I'm not sure if some of it looks nice, it kind of looks like you just piled pieces on. And seriously! 4 Firelords! Man....
