This is my 1:950 Ticonderoga class Guided Missile Cruiser, one of the world's most powerful surface combatants. Mine represents the USS Mobile Bay.
The Ticonderoga class is 567 feet long and 55 feet long and weighs about 10,000 tons. It has 2 5" guns, 6 torpedo tubes, 4 MH-60R helicopters, 8 RGM-84 Harpoon ASMs, and 122 VLS missile cells for RUM-139 VL-ASROC ASW rockets, RIM-174 SM-6 SAMs, RIM-161 SM-3 Ballistic Missile Defense SAMs, RIM-156 ESSM Point Defense SAMs, and RGM-109E Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. My model took about an hour to build, and maybe half an hour of tinkering later on.
