For Cody's Pokemon CYOA contest in minifig scale.
About this creation
I chose these particular Pokemon as if I was going into a battle.

Let's start with the chain Pokemon and Kanto required Pokemon for Cody's contest.
First up is Marowak and Cubone. With these new bone pieces out,
I instantly thought of these guys and used a white droid torso for Marowak's skull.
He was fun to make, but hard to balance. Gravity sure gets on my nerves...

Next up is my improved version of Cody's Scyther... well, sort of. If I only had more lime!
I've added a more flexible head, shoulders, and more revealing wings to
this mantis-like Pokemon.

Now that the required Kanto Pokemon are completed, here's the rest of my line-up.
It's good to have many different types on your team.
My fourth Pokemon is Magmar. A strong pure fire-type.
The only downside to him is that he's slightly taller than he should be.
I could have made Magmortar, but we'll see.

One of my favorite Pokemon is Latios, a major powerhouse to any team.
Just give him Soul Dew, and say bye-bye to your opponent.
The blue wings and flippers really work out for this guy.

Last up is the warrior Gallade from the Sinnoh region. His sword-like arms plus his duo type (Psychic/Fighting) makes him an instant pick for my team.
With the combination of green and teal katana's, Gallade is certainly my second favorite. (I only had one green clip, which is why you see a dark green piece)

Originally I was going to make at least one pokemon in large scale, but building
in micro was just too much fun!

There's only two sets that have this piece - http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=8761-1

Nice and creative. I wonder why you made 7 Pokemon because you can only hold 6 Pokemon at a time(with the exception of Greevil from Pokemon XD). Or is the route supposed to be based on a Johto route from HG and SS and the feature that allows one of your Pokemon to walk with you allow you to have 7 Pokemon at a time? I don't know because that rule didn't apply to Pokemon Yellow. However, that was made in Gen I, so I'm still confused. EDIT: Wait a minute, I think I only see 6 now. But for some reason, I still think that you made 7. Now I'm ABSOLUTELY confused. Please respond.
..... ..... I'm confused too...
You must have thought that the trainer counted as 7. The landscape was just only for background, allowing my Pokemon to stand out more. It's not required in the contest. |

NOOOO!!! D: I made Marowak, too!! But yours is better!! DDDD: .... :| This is why I decided not to enter... I'm much better with Bio-Scale Pkmn, though, :P I'm only one-uped by Mike Nieves, I feel.
Oops. Didn't know you too were making one.
But don't let that stop you, go one with the contest. You won't know unless you try.
Besides I'd like to see how you made yours. |

Yes, most excellent, I was thinking of magmar too, but I didn't have my flames yet, so maybe in next compilation. Marrowak and cubone are great, but marowak is supposed to be only three feet tall. Three studs, if I need to say.
Can't always be perfect. Marowak does look like a hunchback too. |
