*Marty Ford’s group approached the safe-house, exhausted.*
*Mario and Matthew Voss supported Emilio Vasquez as they walked, he had bullet wounds to his chest and was having trouble breathing.*
*Hank Hanson was limping, it is unclear why. He was relying on Sean for support.*
*Marty approached Milk Damea, Jesse watched.*
Milk Damea- What took you guys so long? *Milk sounded irritated.*
Marty Ford- We were ambushed.
Milk Damea- By who?
Marty Ford- I don’t know, but they had weapons I’ve never seen before, they were also clad in black armour.
Milk Damea- We ran into the same problem, lost two people.
Marty Ford- No one died for us, there were just injuries. Emilio’s are pretty serious.
Milk Damea- Alright, get the wounded inside, I’ll see what I can do.
Marty Ford- How you holding up Emilio?
Emilio Vasquez- I…am having… breathing. *he was wheezing as he talked*
Marty Ford- I don’t think you should talk much more, get him inside guys.
*Matthew and Mario brought him in the safe-house, Sean followed with Hank.*
*Most of the group went inside.*
*Sean glanced over to where Hawk had plummeted to his death.*
Sean- What’s that plant?
Joe P- I didn’t even notice there was a plant there…
Sean- I know my way around plants, and I have never seen that kind before.
*He, Swift, Mr. Detonator, and Joe approached the mysterious plant.*
*Sean set his weapon on the ground, bent down, and examined the plant.
Sean- It looks like some sort of moss; I’m going to take a sample.
*He touched the mysterious plant.*
Sean- Gyahh!
*As soon as Sean touched the strange moss his hand turned red and started to swell.*
*Sean stood up and looked horrified at his hand.*
Sean- What’s happening!?!?
Joe P.- You gotta, uh. You have to-
Mr. Detonator- Just calm down and go see Milk, maybe he knows what’s going on.
//Meanwhile//
*Emilio was lying on the bed, still breathing erratically.*
Milk Damea- I’ve attached my suits bio-monitors to him, it doesn’t look good.
Matthew Novosad- *still clutching Meddy’s journal.* Is he going to make it?
Milk Damea- No, his internal injuries require immediate medical attention, but I’m no medic. You’d best be leaving, morale is lowered a lot quicker when the troops see death up close.
*They filed out one-by-one, murmuring to themselves, possibly questioning Milk Damea’s request.*
*Before Mario could exit Sean burst in screaming about his injury, clearly in a state of shock.*
Sean- Help please! My hand is… *Milk interrupted*
Milk Damea- You’ll wait your turn. I’ve already got a dying man, if you don’t calm yourself you’ll be the next death.
*Sean sat next to Hank, shaking.*
*Outside, the group was having a discussion about Milk. Matthew Novosad choose to read more of the journal, while Mario and Voss watched the horizon.*
Swift- I don’t trust him, everything about him seems sinister.
Joe P. He does seem to know what he’s doing. I mean, he brought us here.
Jesse- What do you think Tom?
Tom- I don’t trust him either, but we have no choice but to follow his lead.
*The group argued.*
*As they debated, a moan emanated from nearby.*
Marty Ford- Everyone be quiet.
*There was silence.*
Swift- I don’t hear anything…
Matthew Novosad- Whoah!
*Marty fell over, Novosad jumped back.*
Swift- Is that?
Matthew Novosad- Yep.
Tom- Stand back, I’ll handle it.
*Tom shot several rounds from his PPSH at point blank range, no bullet missed the target.*
*Tom examined the again lifeless body of what used to be the sniper, Hawk.*
Tom- Does anyone have a shovel? We need to burry both of them before they reanimate somehow.
Jesse- I got one. *He waved it in the air.*
*Jesse got to work on the first grave.*
*Milk Damea exited the house, if you could see his face you’d know he had a bad message to deliver.*
Milk Damea- You better dig three graves, Emilio is dead.
Tom- What about Hank and Sean?
Milk Damea- Hank looks to be faking, I’m going to attend to Sean first.
*Matthew looked at everyone, something was on his mind.*
Matthew Novosad- Fine I’ll be the one who says it; where’s Cade?
*Cade had wandered a quarter mile from the safe-house, and decided his scouting mission was over, then he heard a noise…
…a terrible, deadly noise.*
Choices: and remember only those who are in this group can choose what they do.
What will you do about Milk Damea?
Now I’m asking you (the viewer) what you think the strange moss is?

your late work flows a little better text wise, you keep a good momentum! the scenes are great! if you can, try a lighter colored sheet, i think it might be a little better too, i can t help but, think of what i could tell about the space logo guy lol! [hang on! we ll get you!] great work eric!

The moss might be some type of toxic waste of some type that has to do with the zombies, because that is where Hawk landed, and if there was no other zombie in the area when his body came to life, it may have to do with the moss. |

I <3 CYOA XD. I think the green moss is the start of this whole mess after all hawk did fall on that spot right? So that is how he became a zombie because of that moss. |
