Captain DIMís Biplane
This is Captain David Immelmann Moonshine's Custom Biplane. He is the Captain of the USS JALAPI Battle Carrier in the Upcoming series Pilots of the Caribbean. It has moving ailerons, elevators, and ruder.
About this creation
the Build Process:
This was a combine build between me and my friend Callan. I designed the nose and the tail, he designed most of the fuselage, and we both built the wings. Iím not sure about Callan (I donít think he has) but I have never built a LEGO biplane before, OK I built one like 5 years ago at my cousins house but that doesnít count! Iím not that happy with how it turned out, itís OK but thereís something wrong but I just donít know what. I still need to buy a few parts because some of it is the wrong colors. Like on the nose, those 1x1 slants should be black.

The tail fin and elevators:

Ailerons:

The ďWood-Chucker 2000Ē
The nose one the plane is lower then usual to make room for Captain DIMís Wood-Chucker 2000. Itís basically a wood chip maker with two machine gun barrels on it (Pilots of the Caribbean is going to be a comedy). It doesnít kill your enemies it just gives them splinters so they canít use their guns!

Thanks to my friend Josh for these tires:

The Future:
This MOC has been scraped, I really didn't like it much and hope to rebuild it some day. So far all I have is the engine, which is really sweet.

Sweet rotary engine

Oh, I thought this was Pirates of the Caribbean. As long as I'm here, I'll leave a comment. I just love the old planes with all the stories of daring do. Nice details on this build.

Quoting Nick white vary cool I like the flaps and I agree *Avatar: The Last Air bender (Best - Show - Ever!)
Thanks, the front wings are the best part, the rest I really want to rebuild, I have a design for an 8 piston rotary engine that will actually spin! Rotaries almost never had even numbers, but I don't think the design will work in 9. Do you watch Legend of Corra? It is on the Nick website (which is good because I don't have cable); not quite as good as the original, but it knocked Starsky and Hutch off the number 2 spot on my list.

No, not you, a diferent Josh, Josh Grag. He builds life sized LEGO guns, he has a MOCpages acount but never updates it. He only has a really old version of his minigun up right now.

Quoting DarkWolf 222 Nice job, can't wait for POTC!
Yep, I probaly won't get episode one done and posted on youtube for another year, I have enough stuff built now that I can probaly make a teaser trailer soon, (like for Brickfair 2011). Maybe I can even start the stopmotion over the summer!

Quoting C H Cool, but I still think your other pilots of the Caribbean plane (the hornet or whatever its called I can't remember).
Is better? Seams like you forgot to compleat your thought. If it was, "is better," I compleatly agree, This is only the second biplane I have ever made, the first was 5 or 6 years ago. This biplane is OK, but it's defanatly not my greatist work.
