Excellent model! Your attention to detail is amazing, and the techniques you use to create the lines and contours of your vehicles is impressive. I was lucky enough to sit in the real thing at the 2011 Long Ford Revival Festival in Tasmania this year, with Porsche celebrating 60 years in Australia. I also had a chance to speak with some Porsche officials (Walter Rohrl, 2 time world rally championship winner and their test driver, as well asKlaus Bischoff the Porsche rolling museum curator. Now back to your model; after seeing the real thing, your car really is that close to perfect. Keep up the good work! |

Perfektion bis ins Detail. Und das tolle ist, das könnte ich bei jedem deiner Modelle schreiben... diese Rennwagen aus der Ära der überdimensionalen Spoiler sehen für mich immernoch am besten aus, so sollte Motorsport aussehen. Und das ganze derart realistisch in lego umzusetzen... genial! |

Hi Malte, sag mal... GEHT'S NOCH? Auf jeden Fall geht's nicht noch besser - kann nicht, neeee, ehrlich nicht. Das ist mal wieder eine ganz neue Herangehensweise und deine urtypische Art von Bauen (oder besser: künstlerischem Erschaffen), die dieser Rennlegende unheimlich gut steht. Der oft getätigte Vergleich mit anderen Mitstreitern erübrigt sich hier meines Erachtens nach auf Grund von mangelnden Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. Dennoch eine Frage mit minimal kritischem Unterton: ein Motor hat wohl nicht reingepasst (also mit abnehmbarer Haube ist gemeint)? Das wäre natürlich noch die Kirsche auf der eh schon ersten Sahne. Was kommt nun? Sammel mal hellblau und orange - der 917 wäre doch ein logischer Mitsteiter ;-) Bis bald mal & beste Grüße, Jens |

Beautiful, easily one of the best cars of 2011! Your method for curving the fenders is extremely clever, and don't even get me started on engine and interior details. (ALL amazing) I would imagine it took a while to build, but it looks like it was well worth the time. :) |
