About this creation
Hello all, I made this ship for a contest over on FBTB. Polls are still open as of this writing, I urge those on FBTB who haven't voted to do so! The challenge was to build a hybridfighter; my interpretation of this was parts of one ship attached to another. And I did just that, combining the right half of a Hyena Droid Bomber with the remains of an ARC-170. Here's the description I added to give it that extra "oomph":


Trapped on Raxus Prime! Our hero, Rave Allor, is the sole survivor of a Rebel commando mission gone horribly awry. Dodging Imperials and Rodian gangs alike, he searches for a way off-planet.

His options seeming limited, he suddenly stumbles upon the wreckage of a battle fought not too long ago. The ARC-170 provided life support, but its wings were both crushed and missing from previous salvages. He then happened upon a startlingly intact half of a Hyena Droid Bomber. Reactivating it while attached to the ARC-170's remains was problematic at first, but it eventually learned to trust its other half. This odd relatinship caused Rave to name the finished product the "Odd Couple".





















It was a beautiful day, and I was urged to take pics of my ship outside.

Such a concept could have been awkward, but you managed to come up with an excellent build, very creative ! :)

This is a clever concept. I think uglies are cooler when you have two opposing faction's spacecraft combined. Great moc!
