About this creation
Kobol orbit:
Preparations are underway to continue the mission to the Twelve Colonies. The scientists and film crew on the planet Kobol are fully equipped for an extended stay, as the Battlestar Galactica and the Rebel Cylon Baseship begin to plot the next series of FTL jumps to the Cyrannus Star Cluster, the four stars around which the Twelve Colonies revolve. There will be several sequential groups of jumps, with pauses for taking new astronomical readings and refining the calculations.

As per CMDR Nempec's orders, all of the information provided by the Cylons will be double checked by two teams aboard Galactica. Following the Centurion Attack, suspicions are running high of their Cylon friends. LT CMDR Garry King's progressing research on the robotic remains have revealed significant design elements for extreme longevity of operation. The senior staff has concluded that this does not bode well for the next phase of the mission in which they could potentially encounter more of the deadly ancient robots.

LT Shraga: "Commander, the next jump will take us to New Caprica, where the Colonists lived under Cylon Occupation."
CMDR Nempec:"Yes, I remember reading about that. They thought they had escaped from the Cylon chase, almost a year before they showed up. After that, it didn't sound like they had such a hot time; internment camps, torture..."

Watchko: "The escape was quite an op. Galactica jumped right into the planet's frakin' atmosphere, launched Vipers, and jumped back into orbit!"
Nempec: "Gutsy call...Put a lot of stress on the ship, but that Cylon Repair Resin eventually took care of that."

Shraga: "Two Baseships and the Pegasus were destroyed in that battle, I wonder what's left of the wreckage?"
Nempec: "Well, Gentlemen, I suppose we'll find out soon enough...Spin up the FTL and begin Jump Prep."
Shraga: "Aye Sir!"

New Caprica system.
CMDR Nempec: "Sit Rep!"

LT Shraga: "Getting our bearings, Sir. Cylons are with us..."

Shraga: "Multiple DRADIS contacts, Sir, but no transponders...Something's scanning US..."
Col Watchko: "What the heck is it, Lieutenant?"

Nempec: "I'm not interested in waiting for a phone call...Launch Vipers!"

"Action Stations, Action Stations,"

LT Shraga over Loudspeaker: "Set Condition One throughout the Ship!"

Mav: "Sounds like they're playing our song!"
LT Kuo: "Better get your helmet on, Mav, don't want to be late to the party!"

Kuo: "Good hunting!"

"Let's go! Get these birds in the tubes! Move! Move! move!"

"Nav-con green...Interval check...Mag-cat ready-"

"Punch it!"

"Text from the Baseship, Sir. They say they're unarmed, and will require OUR protection from the unknown contact."

Watchko:"Are they kidding?"
Nempec: "I don't think so. Helm: bring us about, put us between the target and the Baseship.

"Fire control: Establish a firing solution on the unknowns, and make sure we keep the Cylons below us in our sights as well. Execute!"

Helm: "Coming about, Sir."
Weapons Control: "Aye Sir, Firing Solution Locked."

Maverick: "We're on it Skipper, we see 'em. Some sort of orbiting weapons platform."

Husker: "Nasty bug lookin' things!"

Mav: "They've got gun batteries!"

Nempec: "Main Batteries, Flack Ammunition: Fire!"

Nempec: "Point Defense Batteries: Open Fire..."

"Establish defensive perimeter!"

Mav: "Alright Team, Here we go! And for cryin' out loud, don't let your tails get singed by Galactica's firing solution!"

Mav: "Uh oh..."

"We've got an inbound!"

Husker: "On it, Commander!"

Husker: "Splash One!"

Mav: "That'll teach 'em a lesson!"

"Just another day at the office...Let's take it in...Dinner's on me!"

This is probably one of the best episodes so far! Almost all the space shots wouldn't look out of place on a poster, and your editing is flawless. The hangar is one of the best parts, the SNOT tiles and balcony look great. Speaking of design, the bug ships are very cool, and the missile is just incredible. Another terrific episode!
Thanks again, Dude! This was a fun one, I must say! I try and work the hangar deck into the story as often as possible. Four bays, and I just built another one! Great place for a Christmas party, but you'll get to that soon enough. Glad you liked it! |

Wooo weee, this is epic man, I'm sorry I missed it initially and glad you pointed me to it. Your work on the new ships looks great. As always your lighting sets the mood expertly as it should, new photoshop skills too? They look great! I was gonna comment that the shot with the vipers coming out of the tubes was my favorite, but then you followed it up with the gun blasting shots! It all comes together nicely. I feel for you man, on one hand, I'd say this is your best yet...on the other, now you have to do it again with your next comic! Great place to be though. On a side note, congratulations on your well deserved Moccie nominations, you created quite a niche for yourself. Till' next time.

UNBELIEVABLE Where does it end. I have enough hassles with making one model at a time and you seem to endlessly create amazing MOCs and story lines ..... WELL DONE .... Keep up the brilliant work and I will keep being amazed..... AAAAA+++++ GO TOASTERS |

Very very good :D but slightly curious to what fired the missile, as it looks like a form of capital ship that is firing it or is it something to be revealed in the next installment? |

What can I say?
Great story, even better photoshopping and awesome lego creations!
It sure took you some time to build and take pictures of all this stuff, can't wait too see more of this. I've added you to my favorite builders though.
5/5! |
