I've been asked to create portraits of people's petsbefore but this is the first time I've made a cat. As always, my portraits are hand-drawn (not computer-generated) and mounted to a wooden backing similar to a canvas painting.
This portrait is 20" x 25", loves shiny things, and falls off the wall if you're carrying catnip.
Aww, I just so happen to have a black and white kitty myself...(^_^) His name is Star and he's a very good kitty, too. At any rate, I'm glad that you're just as talented at building 2-D models as you are at building 3-D models. Personally, I like the whole bitmap building myself. However, I tend to rely on computers as well as colored pencils and graph paper (it works out really well with regards to the whole old-school bit system). Truth be told, I liked the LEGO Mosaic line myself and creations like yours would be a good argument to get it reinstated. However, that probably won't happen but hey, there's still some bright spots in the whole LEGO Design by Me and LEGO Universe worlds, though. As for my signature picture (referred to as sig pic from now on), I made a more free-standing variant of the LEGO Mosaics with this and a few other creations (and more that are still to be built) on my MOC page. Please be kind and check them out if you have the time. Thank you.
Purr...what a FANCY FEAST! I adore cats and love their independant attitude, to get one who'll allow you to pet them or one who'll sit on your lap is to have made it! I am a LEO by zodiacal lore and that has influenced my love for all in the felidae kingdom! Remember the lions I showed you? So this was a super treat! Hey if you have the time please stop by my LIC Arts Center page and please leave a comment! And look at my vendors! Thanks, Nick
