This is my first actual complete AEGAKS (even though it is only on LDD, but sadly i do not have enough parts). It also used the new experimental tripod frame. I have decided to name it the Vanguard.
About this creation

This is the tripod AEGAKS, the first of its kind (as far as I know). The Vanguard series is extremely resilient and can survive in some of the most difficult conditions. It is capable of negotiating difficult terrain, including rocky mountain ravines. In addition each shoulder is equipped with 2 heat seaking missiles and 2 ground to air missilies.

These configuration of legs is one of the most efficent, and as seen is sufficently armoured.

New experimental thrusters, they use pressurized forces to propell and lift even heavier loads such as the Vanguard.

In addition to the experimental energy thrusters the mecha is equipped with one normal thruster in each leg, just for that extra lift.

To let the combustion residue vent out each foot has a special 'hole' that allows the residue to escape.

The Vanguard also has one beam-sword under the right arm which really is only to be used in emergency close up fights, if needed.

The Vanguard has a energy cannon which has sufficent power to blast through even the toughest armour, but when needed the energy output can be lowered which allows for damage but not total destruction. The protrusions help to regulate the direction of the energy discharge.

For those close calls there is a wrist blaster implemented in the arm.

It has its own power cell so if the model's own power cell is depleted you can manualling shoot itm but only if it is already aimed in the direction you wish to shoot.

Like all AEGAKS the Vanguard has an ejectable cockpit.

Finally the Vanguard's head (which doubles as a power cell) is ejectable to escape any detonations so that the model can be later retrieved.

Fantastic. This (in my opinion) would be far more effective in combat than your concept although I agree, the waist does seem a little on the thin and under-armoured side. At least it's on LDD so you can continue to improve it without much difficulty. Is it buyable?

That's definately different. And that is the first tripod we've seen. ^Blub^

Interesting design, the legs are pretty neat but the waist is kind of rediculous.
