It's like being seven years old again!
About this creation
I built this on LDD a week or so ago and thought it deserved an airing. As you can see, it's my version of the first Technic set I had, given to me for Christmas in 1977.

Sadly, LDD doesn't have some of the older parts on, including the wheels, so I had to make the tractor swamp ready. I also, out of choice, altered the mudguards and made the bonnet sides and headlamps more like my favourite tractor, the Massey Ferguson 135.

It's all geared up, so in theory, works like he genuine model.







As a final treat, there's a picture of me holding the completed model, just before Christmas Dinner - fresh bricks and no teeth marks!

I always wanted this set as a kid but never got it. I was born in 77 but Lego still had pictures of this set in their catalogs. All my old 70s and 80s Lego is covered in bite marks but it's still fun to play with :). Great old school photo - gotta love the 70s hair ;).
