CAU-DE CyberAgent Prototype
part of my cyberagent theme
About this creation
Note, the CAU reference relates to the fact that these designs are a consequence of the time travel events of the CAU-A universe and therefore are not part of the original time line. This is evidenced by the fact that events are occurring nearly 100 years out of sync from the original time line.

an almost completely new build incorporating elements of my protoagents version 4 frame and elements of the original cyberagents samurai frame.

the prototype version 2 will most likely be a version of the original limb design with a new body type as I'm liking the new level of waist articulation (which the originals didn't have, I didn't introduce a waist bend or twist till about the cyberagent archangels).

From here on out I'm going to start adding a bit of a time line to these things to expand the story a little.

Eagle eyed mocers will note I've left a few studs exposed and obviously the new shoulder design leaves a slight gap. These are actually errors and I had intended to fix them but just forgot.

time line.

The CyberAgency was established in the early 22nd century. Its function was to repel attacks against the Earth from forces beyond the capabilities of conventional forces.

For this task they created the protoagents, a new synthetic life form which could be adapted into a variety of warrior forms. These prototype soldiers were dispatched to deal with the first wave of an alien force known as "the Grey" who arrived here in the 1950's at Roswell New Mexico and had been in sleeper mode since.

By the mid 22nd Century the Protoagents had begun to develop beyond their original design. Smarter and more agile than their original forms the second generation became known as Class 2.

After Class 2 the protoagents evolved much faster becoming taller and more adept with melee weapons and tools. So fast was their development that Classes 3 through 4 were witnessed in a single year.

By the end of the 22nd century the first wave of Grey was practically defeated. Finding themselves no longer as essential to earth's defence, the protoagents were mothballed. However even in storage they continued to develop under the guidance of the CyberAgencies scientists.

By the start of the 23rd century the first Prototypes of a new class of protoagent emerged, the CyberAgents. Just in time to face a new and more deadly threat from space. The creatures known only as "Invaders".

Quoting Blitz the Thunder Spartan So surprised these don't get more comments. They are so cool and detailed! They are so creative! I wish my LDD worked.
I think it may partly be because I don't spam up the website like some other people do, so my name doesn't appear in the comments of the most popular LDD creations. Also there seems to be a pronounced LDD bias here and on flickr (where some of my designs are also being posted). It's almost as if some brick builders believe if it isn't system bricks it isn't really a MOC. You even see comments like "I don't post on virtual or rendered designs normally". Which is fair enough as what can be made in LDD may not actually work in reality. But ultimately the main reason is I'm not part of the Lego scene. I don't join contests, I'm not part of a lot of groups, and I've only been active here a relatively short time. Give it a year or two and maybe some of my better designs might top 100 views. Having said that I'm not concerned. I make them for me, and share them to see if anyone else likes them. But I'm not going to spit the dummy if I get like 1 view and no comments. End of the day the collection is for me, the rest of Brickshelf are welcome to look, comment and rate if they want, but it isn't a problem if they aren't interested.
