Where's the clicker?
About this creation
Here is an LDD remote control, or "clicker", loosely based on the one I have for my tv. I felt like taking a break from Star Trek ships and guns for a bit. This was a fun, simple build. It measures 6 studs wide, 24 studs long, and 6 plates high. I enjoyed coming up with the button configuration. Too bad LDD doesn't have numbers or designs for their plates. The sensor is in dark red on the front of the remote. The model even comes complete with 2 AAA batteries that connect underneath.

Intricate. I've been looking over pictures of this MOC and I've been proposing that the eight buttons surrounding the 2x2 flat round plate don't actually connect to the remote. I mean, it's a nice design but I fail to see how it would be physically possible. This is why I have brought it up, for the designer to answer my question over this design.

Quoting LEGO Lord Intricate. I've been looking over pictures of this MOC and I've been proposing that the eight buttons surrounding the 2x2 flat round plate don't actually connect to the remote. The 2x2 round tile, and each of the 8 buttons around it, is connected to the remote with a 1x2 plate with a single stud on it. Then I rotated the ones on the corners to form a circle. I wouldn't cheat by just laying the tiles on top. There was alot of trial and error to get the look, but it was worth it. Thanks for the comment, Lego Lord.
